Skypelt walked alone amongst the woods, hoping to find something to satisfy his hunger. As he was walking, he thought about himself. He had never had a mate, but he wished he did have one. He sighed to himself and continued to stalk a mouse he had glimpsed.

Snowfall was hunting the same mouse. She was in hunters crouch, and leapt at the mouse, killing it with the a swift bite of the neck. She purred, then froze as she saw Skypelt.
-
Skypelt looked irritated for a moment, then loosened his expression.
"Hello," he said. -
"H-hi." She stuttered. She saw how skinny the rogue was, and pushed her mouse toward him. The mouse rolled and bumped into his paws.
-
Skypelt pushed the mouse back.
"I'm not hungry," he lied. "You can have it." -
"You should look in a puddle and see if your not hungry. Please, I insist." Snowfall meowed.
-
Skypelt shrugged and quickly gulped down the mouse.
"Thanks," he replied.
"Do you want to go hunting together? I'm still hungry." -
Snowfall was reluctant. Hunt with a complete stranger? She shrugged. It wouldnt hurt. "Sure."
-
"You should pick the spot. I don't know this area very well," Skypelt said.
-
"Uh. Okay. Follow me." Snowfall padded toward the tall trees. The best squarrels were known to roam there.
-
Skypelt followed, implanting the place in his mind so he
could hunt here later. -
"Theres a few squarrels here. Its late at night so not many are here. But theres enough to feed you." Snowfall leapt at a pair of squarrells. She killed the two and brought them back. "Here."
-
Skypelt thanked her and ate the squirrel, them went off to hunt a couple more squirrels.
-
Snowfall ate the other, and waited for his return.
-
Skypelt returned, dragging a large rabbit.
"I got lucky today!" he exclaimed. He offered the rabbit to Snowfall. -
"Wow! That things huge! Oh. Its okay, I'm full. But you can have it."
-
"Alright," he said. He crouched down and hungrily devoured the rabbit. He then looked up at the sky. It's getting dark," he observed.
-
Snowfall shrugged. "I'm a nighttime kind of cat." She meowed
-
"I usually am, too, but I've been up hunting all day, and I'm exhausted," Skypelt replied.
