Foxember nodded. He looked at his paws for a moment then back to her. "Well a long time ago I thought I had this figured out. I was in love with Fernflight as an apprentice. I loved her and I spent time with her as an apprentice and later a fellow warrior. Despite all that I never truly earned her affection back. Until just last night I thought I still loved her. Well, the truth is I don't. I talked to her last night and she doesn't love me either. Last night I found my true love. You said your brother probably wasn't right about anything, but I think that's wrong he was right about one thing. If you'll have me and love me too, would you be my mate?" he asked.

"I...uh..." Embergaze was speechless, she didn't expect him to love her back. She then smiled, "Y-yes." she meowed.

Foxember sighed in relief, it had seemed like such a forward thing to ask. He purred loudly and nuzzled her unable to say anything.

Foxember grinned. "So do you want to go out on a patrol maybe or do something else?" he asked.

Embergaze looked up at him. "It's up to you." she meowed.

"How about a patrol then, just us two," Foxember meowed.

"I'd like that." Embergaze smiled.

Foxember smiled and lead the way out of camp.

Embergaze followed him and began purring.

"Hopefully we won't run onto any loners like yesterday right?" Foxember meowed.

"Hopefully." Embergaze agreed.
ooc: Then outta nowhere, a loner comes and attacks the happy couple.

Foxember chuckled and headed towards a different border than the day before.

"I seriously hope my brother doesn't come attack us again." Embergaze sighed, trying to keep up with Foxember.
ooc: Fall of a cliff! 8D Nah, how about they get attacked again, but Foxember literally kicks Flint's but this time?

Foxember nodded. "Me too, why did he leave the clan and wanted to attack us then?" he asked.

"It's normal for me, every time I wander out of the clan, he somehow appears out of nowhere and bothers me." she said angrily.
"Is it really that normal for you?" a voice said.

Foxember was about to reply when he heard someone else. He turned to face the cat. "What are you doing here?" he asked.

Embergaze turned around. "Why are you here?" she asked.
Flint chuckled. "Dear sister, you're so cute when you act brave." he teased.

"Why do you keep coming here. Your not in WindClan and you don't belong here. Besides that you should leave her alone if your only going to taunt her," Foxember meowed.
