Riverblaze was running. She could smell the kits ahead. She didn't care if they didn't want her along. She was coming whether they liked it or not.

Riverblaze lashed her tail, holding back an angry retort. "I need to look after them. I don't give a mouse-tail about what you do." She turned and followed the kits, determined to make sure they got home safe.
Notice the "She turned and followed the kits" thing.

IC: Riverblaze shouted over her shoulder at Elkkit without slowing down. "Depends on what kind of deal your talking about!!" She followed the kit's scent, aware that she was getting closer.

"I was thinking if I let you come with us to our meeting, give you shelter after the meeting because there is a snow storm coming, and then take you and the kits back home safely because you probably won't know the way back from my den to your camp. Then I was wondering if I could some how join your clan." She said with hope in her voice.
