  • Cat's bio...

The cat walked swiftly and calmly around the forest; it was getting colder and he was alone. A warrior of 30 moons, yet had become lost to the clan, none knew him, so he spent his days out in the forest. The large golden tom's powerful muscles ripple while he was off exploring. He was losing all hope of being accepted into the clan and becoming a great cat. He already knew he would never be deputy and he would never find a mate. Burninglion raised his head towards the sky, but none could see the stars during the day, was he not allowed to have hope or guidance?

The warrior wondered if things would have been different if his kin had not left him when he was a small kit to become kitty-pets. His voice was weak as he mumbled, "Do they think I shall become a kitty-pet as well?" Did the passionate look in the golden pair of eyes not show his love to take care of his clan mates? Did the scar between his shoulders, the 'V' cut in tip of the right ear, the scar over his left eye not show that he would fight and die for his clan if needed? All the cat sought was a friend and to be accepted.

He sat down somewhere in the middle of the forest, not to sure of where he was at. the tom laid his head down on his paws and closed his eyes. Knowing he shouldn't be sleeping out in the forest while it was getting colder; Blazinglion ignored the cold winds and chilling air that lingered around. The golden cat was not quite asleep, nor was he fully awake. No hope came to him, for he knew that no cat would want to be near him; after all, who would want to friends to a cat who's parents left him to become kitty-pets?

  • Small paws pounded against the forest floor, short fur brushing against the brittle brambles that covered the paths of the warriors. A spotted pelt flashed behind trees as the green gaze remained on the racing rabbit. A leap, a pounce away from catching the plump prey, excitement lost in her eyes. The rabbit made a sharp turn, the young warrior wasn't quick enough to follow. The spotted she-cat let out a yowl of surprise as she tripped over the sleeping form of Burninglion, leaving her crashing into a thick bramble full of thorns.

Spottedshadow let out a yowl of pain as she backed out of the bush, thorns taring at her soft skin. "Stupid thorns." She spat, looking over her dark pelt for any of the sharp pricks that decided to cling to her with hope. She turned her green gaze to see what it was she had tripped over, at the sight of a pelt her anger boiled slightly more. "Why were you just laying there? You lost me a rabbit." She growled, her shyness returning she took a step back.

  • Blazinglion looked sleepy up at the she-cat, he stood, his massive size showing. He swung his head away so he could no see her, "Staying where I belong, I may have been born and raised as a Thunderclan cat, but never once was I truly welcomed as one. I had been out patrolling and hunting alone, then I fell asleep out here." The golden cat looked back at the she-cat his rumbling voice asked, "I lost you a rabbit right? Then I shall repay you by taking over your hunt and not resting until I have caught atleast two rabbits as well as 3 other pieces of prey."

His eyes were dull, he had no emotion in his voice except of a hint of guilt that made him feel awful for messing up the younger cat's hunt. He began to stretch, but he mumbled, "unless you don't want the help of the son of two kitty-pet traitors.." The lost warrior's voice trailed off and he looked like he could fall into millions of shards. "A young pretty cat such as yourself shouldn't go prancing around in the deepest part of the forest, but you are entitled to doing what you want." Blazinglion was a big softy and the studied her for a moment, "You may lack size, but you are fierce, you are a great warrior of this great clan. I can not say the same for myself..." The golden cat went of on a tangent and realized it so he fell deadly silent.

  • Spottedshadow listen with a warming gaze as her anger subsided, flattening her ears against her skull as her ears heated up with embarrassment. She looked down at her paws, wishing she could shrink down into that rabbit so she could easily hop away. "It's alright, I know you didn't purposefully lose me that rabbit, but I could use some company for the rest of my hunt if you'd join me." She looked back up at his with a friendly flick of her tail.

"Thank you but I don't consider myself all that pretty." She meowed quietly, giving her chest a few licks to hide her embarrassment. The little she-cat had secrets of her own, family issues she never shared with anyone but her brother. Most of Thunderclan knew about her mother and fathers lack of interest in there two remaining kits, ignoring the fact and watching the kits with wary gazes.

  • "Then I shall join you on your hunt." He dipped his head to the cat as though the younger cat was a senior warrior. Blazinglion said with a serious face, "Well you are, and you should think you are pretty." The gold cat turned and began scenting the area, but got distracted but a falling feather and reared up on his hind legs to bat at the blue feather. The warrior had forgotten about the scar between his shoulders. He landed heavily back on his feet and looked embarrassed, "I am Blazinglion, by the way, I did not know if you had heard of me or not, probably not. Starclan shame me for not introducing myself earlier!"

He kept to himself after he stated his name, a low growl of his stomach could be heard. The cat ignored it and began walking, hesitating to ask if she wanted to lead. Starclan help me; do not know if I will scare her off or not. As for my kin, please wish them well for me, though they left me, I still love them. His personality took over; even a warrior liked to play and enjoy life, his paws itched to get moving, he would get to hunt with some cat today.

  • "I have heard of you, in the hushed conversations of the other warriors. But as I pass by them they usually go silent till I'm out of earshot." The spotted she-cat padded to his side, touching the tip of her tail to his flank before whisking it away quickly. "I'm Spottedshadow, I don't know who has heard of me but I'm hoping you'll know me now." She meowed, glancing at his scars then down at her paws.

As he started walking she stepped lightly after him, sticking close by his side while she could. A soft growl from the tom's stomach made her whiskers twitch with amusement. "Shall we catch something to fill our bellies first? You sound like you could do with a bit of fresh-kill." She meowed, parting her jaws to scent for any prey nearby.

  • "I see," His rumbling voice said, sounding a bit puzzled, "I wonder if talk about me is good or not.." Pondering something he stopped and hesitated, but got the courage to say, "Spottedshadow is a great name." Blazinglion stated, "You seemed not to be hunting for yourself, but for the clan earlier. I can wait to eat later." The guilty golden eyes said that he had not heard of her before and that he was hungry, but he refused to allow her to be too kind to him.

Freezing, he parted his jaws and looked up towards a branch of a tree. He began to climb quietly and when he made it to a high branch, he crept forward slowly. The branch began to bend and sway. He stood still for a few moment, then a sparrow landed back on the branch and began to sing. The warrior pounced and caught the bird, killing it quickly. As he began to turn around, the branch snapped and both he and his kill went falling towards the ground. Blazinglion twisted just in time to land on his feet, unfortunately he landed bramble bush and got a few thorns stuck in his paws. The cat muttered some curses and laid the bird at Spottedshadow's paws while he began pulling thorns out of his paws.

  • Spottedshadow's pelt grew even warmer as he complemented her name, but he began to climb a tree before she could speak. She watched beneath him, gaze up at his with bright green eyes. As the tom pounced on the bird and turned, the snapping sound made the she-cat flatten her ears in fear. As the branch came crashing down towards her she let out a yowl and leaped out of the way, yet part of it scraped against her flank. She got shakily to her paws and sniffed at the scratch. It wasn't deep but a small trail of blood seeped out.

"Blazinglion?" She called out before he appeared before her, cursing as he set the bird down before her. "Are you alright?" She leaned towards him and sniffed at his pelt, noticing the thorns sticking out of his pad. "Here, let me help you." She meowed softly, aiming to nose his muzzle away from his paw.

  • The cat lifted his head and raised his paw towards the she-cat. Flattening his large ears he looked away, "Please forgive me for being so clumsy. I have distracted us from the hunt..." His voice trailed off, but he eyed the bird he caught; his stomach protesting and telling him to eat it, yet the cat just gave his chest a few licks and ignored it.

Alert, he smelled blood, but he knew it was not is, for he was bleeding only a bit. Blazinglion pulled his paw away quickly and declared to know, "Did you get hurt?!" Anger blazed in his eyes, but it was obviously not directed towards Spottedshadow. Seeming to be cursing himself, the cat tugged at a thorn in his paw carelessly and made the opening bigger than it had to be, crimson blood streamed softly down his paw.

  • Spottedshadow turned her scratched flank away from Blazinglion, catching the look of anger it brought to him. "It's just a scratch, I'll be fine." She meowed quietly as he pulled his paw away from her. She watched him tear at his pad, ripping the wound even more. "You furball, you're only making it worse." She meowed, aiming to push her muzzle against his to lick at his pad.

She caught the gaze of hunger the tom gave to the prey, her own hunger eating away at her belly. She'd been hunting for the clan since sun-high, already having brought back two loads of prey. They could stop for a while to eat, she had done more then her duty.

  • "It's not that bad!" The fuzzy cat protested, but reluctantly allowed her to reach his paw. The helpless cat couldn't look at the she-cat any more; for he had hurt her and made a fool of himself. His guilty, golden eyes lost the light in them and became dull. His features became dejected; ears flatted against his skull, his expression became sorrowful, and he stood as though he was stone.

The cat bitterly mumbled to himself, "I always hurt others, always... Starclan strike me now and send my worthless soul to the dark forest!" Blazinglion she did not hear the words he spoken to himself; his words expressed his concern for the younger cat and how upset the furball was for placing Spottedshadow in danger.

  • Spottedshadow gave his pad a few more licked till the bleeding stopped, her pink tongue rasping over the rough texture. She looked up at him, seeing his face turned away from her. Had she done something wrong? She flattened her ears, looking once more to her little paws that matched the forest floor beneath them. She heard him mumble something but could not decipher what it was he said.

Spottedshadow got to her paws and padded to the sparrow Blazinglion had just caught, taking it up in her jaws she padded back to the tom, laying the kill at his feet. "Will you share this with me?" She asked, shifting her feet so she could lightly touch her nose to his.

  • The large cat hesitated and nodded slowly, stating, "Only if you ear your fill first. I can hunt with or without eating a little longer." His voice was soft and had a sweet sound to it. The golden cat nosed the sparrow forward, his sad expression gone now.

Blazinglion suddenly asked with a puzzled look on his face, "Why bother being around a cat like me?" He shivered from the cool breeze that blew and crept up his spine. His fur fluffed up, making him a big fuzz ball. The cat forced his coat to lay flat, asking suddenly, "Does this cold not bother you?"

  • Spottedshadow let out an amused purr as he fluffed his pelt, taking the term 'furball' to the literal. She leaned forward to lick at a tuft of his fur that remained sticking up. At his question she froze, her tongue sticking slightly out. She sat down and looked him straight in his warm amber eyes, her own green gaze set. "I don't judge cats on what I hear others say about them, I judge cats on what I find out on my own." She leaned forward to press her nose against his in a gesture of friendliness.

She had been feeling the cold for a while now, her fur was already fluffed up but since it was so short it must look like nothing. "It is quite chilly." She meowed, flattening her ears as a cool breeze swept around her head. Her short tail wrapping around her paws tightly.

  • May I join?

  • (I personally don't mind...)

Suddenly the large tom dropped into a hunter's crouch, looking like a kit about to roughhouse with their kin. "Well, we could practice moves, get our tails moving on the hunt, or go of a walk to get you warmed up." He seemed to 'smile' as he gave a pounce, landing beside her on a leaf.

With a quick change of mood his voice seemed to whisper with the winds, "Just a bit ago, I though I was alone. Now I have a friend. It seems that the forest brings those who are lost, one way or another, together to solve problems. Ah but yes, when you go..." his voice trailed off; no good moment could last forever.

Blazinglion began to think about how alone he would be if he walked back into camp again. Out of no where, a weight came crashing down on his shoulders; In all his moons in the clan, he had only one friend now, yet this may be the only time he would talk to her. He wondered if there was any other cat out there within this forest or within the other clans that were loosing hope, for what ever reason.

The cat shook off the thoughts and looked cheerful again, "So what shall we do, young great warrior." He focused back on the one that stood before him at the moment, knowing that at any moment his past could haunt him and cause him to break down. Blazinglion hoped that Spottedshadow had not wondered what he was thinking. He began to walk, rubbing her side with his to cause a little heat to warm her up a bit in the cold. The next wind came and yet again he fluffed up, involuntarily he yowled, "FOX-DUNG!"

  • ((Welcome! I don't mind either. :) ))

Spottedshadow watched as a far away look filled the tom's amber eyes, her own thoughts wandering to what the odd tom was thinking about. As he mentioned her leaving she felt her heart drop, she'd just made a friend and now he was speaking of her leaving. She didn't know how she felt about that, she liked having someone to talk to.

"You don't have to worry about me going anywhere, I promise I'll always be your friend." She meowed as they started walking, their pelts brushing together. She pressed against him as his pelt fluffed up and a harsh wind blew, flicking her tail teasingly over his ears as he cursed the wind. Her thoughts dragged back to this morning when she tried to visit her mother's new kits, being chased out of camp by her mothers new mate. Shaking her head slightly her tail drooped a little, once more her life seemed to come crashing back like the falling branch, splintering into her fur causing it bristle against Blazinglion.

  • bio

That is my bio from when I originally got her from an adoption thread.

ic; Turquoisesun roamed the camp grounds in search of something to do. Her twinkling eyes full of light as the stars glimmered off of her shinny pelt. Sighing heavily wondered if any of her siblings were still living, then the flashback of her mother went through her mind and she quickly shook it away.

Pushing forward the she cat let out a small yawn and leaned down to drink from a small pool of water. Closing her eyes to bask in the moonlight cleaned her maw and looked up seeing as how most of the cats were asleep by now. Trailing her eyes back down to her tabbied paws turned on her heels back in the direction of the dens.

  • The large cat couldn't help but to let out a loud rumbling purr. He picked up the sparrow and mumbled, "Lets go to camp and have this; we can go back and hunt some more later." He looked into her eyes to see if she approved this idea or not; if not then he would gladly stay out here.

Blazinglion wondered if things would just remain the two of them out here, or if some other cat was going to sneak into this group of cats that seem to all have problems. His whiskers twitched in amusement because he wondered if Spottedshadow had her own family problems and that's why she didn't mind being around the big furball. The jumped when he put too much pressure on his paw, it was a bit sore.
