Honeyfang is being attacked!

    Garnetwhisker had been hunting by himself, when he heard his clanmates cry. He bounded with the power of all of Starclan rushing through him. "Honeyfang! I'm coming!" Once he got there, he stopped in his paw steps, he had not realized it was a Fox, he had to do somthing to help Honeyfang, some patrol would come and help soon enough. He lept at the Fox, claws unsheathed, and ripped at its face.

    The fox fell off. Honeyfang managed to stand up. "There is two more." she said. "Lets kill this one first." even though she was pretty scratched up, she was strong enough to fight.

    Garentwhisker nodded and leaped at the fox, as the fox aimed for a high attack, but as the fox reared, Garnetwhisker got under it and clawed at its belly. He got up in time to see the fox fall, but it wasn't dead. "Honeyfang! Finnish it!" He called to his clanmate. :D

    Honeyfang leaped into a tree, and came down on its neck with claws unsheathed. The fox yelped, and was silent. She hopped off. "Thank you so much Garnetwhisker! You saved my life!" she smiled shyly at him. Honeyfang's pelt was stained with blood from her cuts, and she suddenly stumbled.

    Garnetwhisker smiled at her, "No problem Honeyfang, I'm just glad I got here when I did you could have been crow-food!" Garnetwhisker does have a crush on her to and has always been concerned for her safety. "Lets go find those other foxes, and what were you doing out here all alone?" He asked as Honeyfang lead the him to the other beasts. :-*

    "I like to take walks." Honeyfang said. "They help me clear my mind." she didn't add she had been thinking about Garnetwhisker pretty much the whole time.

    Garnetwhisker didn't judge, he does the exact same thing sometimes. "Well next time, make sure your closer to came or a patrol is some what near by, so this," He pointed his tail toward the dead fox, "doesn't happen, you could have been killed! You know I'm concerned about your safety, not saying you can't defend yourself you had just proved that to me." He stared at her with his sky-blue gaze, thoughtfully telling her that he DOES like her.

    "Are you okay?!" Garnetwhisker took his gaze away from Honeyfang, and toward her shoulder, there was a large gash and it was bleeding so much that he though Honeyfang might pass out. "I can take you back to camp, and I can tell Serpantstar (I think that's who are leader is) and he will sent out a patrol." He had stopped walking, and climbed a tree, grabbed some clean leaves, and put them on the gash. "I'm no medicine cat, but I know this will stop some of the bleeding." He waited for Honeyfang's answer, knowing that if he had walked to camp she wouldn't follow.

    It really did hurt a lot and she did feel like she was going to pass out. "Thanks." she said, laying down to let the blood stop flowing. "But I don't really want to go back." she grinned her evil smile. "I'm going for the foxes." She paused for a moment. "So, you actually like....want me as your mate?"

    Garnetwhisker sighed and said sympathetically, "Look I know you want to go after them, but you could pass out right when the fox was on top of you and kill you, or it could get infected and you would have to take a break from your warrior duties," He put his large, fluffy tail across her shoulder being careful not to touch the wound, "or I could lose you." Before Honeyfang could respond Garnetwhisker took his tail off her and realized what he had just said he turned away and said, "Please, come to came with me, I don't want you to get even more hurt than you are." His voice was suddenly flat. ^-^

    "Okay, fine." Honeyfang said, noting his concern. "But as soon as I heal up, we are right back out here to kill some fox!"

    Garnetwhisker smiled and said, "Okay I'll tell Surpantstar and make sure he won't send a patrol unless we're in it." :) He put his tail over Honeyfang and stood strangely close to her. He wanted to ask her a very important question, but just when it was a perfect time to ask, some cat always butted in, or he thought the she didn't like him and she would not accept his question in being his mate.

    Garnetwhisker took all his courage and thought, ' Garnetwhisker! Do you want kits and a beautiful mate to share them with! Or are you going to keep being a cowered and keep your dream cat one step out of reach! He stopped walking a stared at Honeyfang with his sky-blue gaze. "Honeyfang... will you.... will you...." Garnetwhisker swallowed a clump in his neck, closed his eyes and said, "Be my mate!" He opened his eyes and saw her, she didn't look the same though, her pelt was the same but, she looked more graceful,and beautiful.

    He put his face against hers and lead her to camp as they were walking he asked shyly, "Honeyfang, I've dreamed about the day when I asked you this question, and I can't help but ask, have you?" Although he seemed calm and cool on the outside 8), Garnetwhisker was screaming with happiness, he felt like he could fight all of Thunderclan by himself.

    Garnetwhisker was so happy, he felt so happy that he thought his cream colored pelt would turn bright red. Once the got to camp, he lead his new mate to the medicine den and said, " I'm going to tell Serpantstar about the foxs, and don't be dissaponted if you don't get to go, your safety is way more important than ever, and I don't need you getting into any more trouble." He licked her inbeteewn her ears and left to tell there leader.
