( I think I'm going to steal some from the old thread. ;] )
Fletcher rested his feet up against the coffee table as he joined Salem on the sofa. "I have a arty to go to tonight, so I'm going to take it easy until then."
"I'm coming." Salem said quickly, running a hand through his dark brown hair. His green eyes danced alonge the window, watching red and orange leaves fall as a tiny white kitten jumped onto his lap, then joined by a black one. Witch and Hallo snuggled against him and he shook his head, waiting for the jokes. Around his house he was known as Cat Man since he couldn't sit for more that ten seconds without being attacked by his kittens.
"Sure," Fletcher said. "You're all welcome to come." He added, "But not Dex and Connor. They're too little." He looked at Sal, cats climbing on him. "Hey!" Dexter protested. "I'm not little like Connor!" Fletcher shook his head. "Still not old enough, buddy."
[sub]I chuckled at Dexter, smiling. I held Witch close to my chest as I stood up and walked into the kitchen, opening the fridge and looking for something to eat. I shut the door and walked into the pantry, sighing. I then walked back to the fridge and grabbed a soda. I poured part of it into the cat bowl, Hallo quickly lapping it up before sitting back down. My deep green eyes looked at Fletcher, then back to the others.
"I'm going to pass with a nice smile on my face," Kenrick scowled, "I'm refusing to risk my life, or my dignity, going somewhere with you."
I glared at Kenrick, "What's that mean?" I asked, Witch still in my arms. I opened the soda one handed and sipped it before setting it on a coater-Mom would be proud. I hated to admit it, but sometimes Ken was a bit annoying with his attitude towards everyone.
Kenrick lowed his brown eyes to Witch, raising an eyebrow. Glancing back up, he began to speak again. Why did the early times of day just make him really obnoxious? "Guess. I bet it isn't hard."
occ; little muse sparks where have you gone in this threaddd? ; 0 ;
I scoffed and stood up, walking towards my room. I wasn't in the mood to deal with him right now and just wanted to enjoy my weekend, for once. I shut the door and turned on my music, 'Tie Your Mother Down' by Queen blasting from my room. I looked in the mirror and fixed my hair, meeting my eyes with a shake of the head once more. I looked through my closet before finding my favorite black and blue stripepd sweater and pulling it on. I flopped onto my bed and picked up my phone, texting my friends and glancing at one of the earlier texts from Leslie and felt my heart flutter. I bit my lip and threw my phone away as I heard a small scratch at my door, no doubt it was Hallow. I opened the door and scooped him up and walking into the living room, looking for my book. "Anyone seen my book? I think I left it out here.." Why do I always loose things?!
"Which one?''
"The Perks of Being A Wall Flower." I said, looking though the bookshelf incase Mom accidentally put it away. I then looked under the stacks of comics, magizines, and random school papers to discover it wasn't there. I shrugged and set Hallow on the ground, the small black cat walking over to Kenrich and rubbing against his leg.
Kenrick had a feeling the cat wouldn't leave him alone, no matter what serious and mean looking face he could muster. So, he bent down a bit to gently scratch Hallow on the head, between the ears. "Does that feel good, euh?" The teenager asked the kitty, even though he knew it couldn't answer.
I watched with a smile as Hallow licked Kenrich's hand then laid on his back, waiting for a belly rub. He was like a dog in many ways.. I ran a hand through my hair with a smirk, my pure white teeth being revealed. "He likes you." I said happily.
Kenrick had a little smile growing on his face, but when those words, He likes you, entered his ears, he blinked. Shooting up quickly, he acted as if it never happened. The young man couldn't show a soft side, nope. It was forbidden!
Hallow frowned as Kenrick backed away and was startled slightly so he hid behind my legs. "F*ck, whats up with you?" I muttered, finally noticing a blue book cover tucked inside the dish rack. I plucked it out and smiled, I found my book!
"Euh?" Kenrick continued to ignore it. "Seems as though you've found your book. Why are you reading it, anyways? If its got your attention it may get mine."
I shrugged, "It's a good book and really well written."
{low muse.}
"I guess?"
{Ita, you like Panic At The Disco?? :] }
I shrugged and picked up my cats before walking away with my book under one arm. I shut the office door behind me as I sat in the large recliner and began to read.

ic; KENRICK WAS FOREVER ALONE. </3
"Read 1984 by George Orwell, better than that book" Damian advised before Salem left. He looked over at Kenrick, grinning. The dark haired boy stood up and entered the DVD.
