Frostpaw was sitting in the crowd of her apprentice ceremony waiting for her name and her mentor's name to be called. She looked around at the warriors guessing who her mentor might be "Gingerfur? No. Ashpelt? No. Smokeclaw? No. Tigerfur? NO!!!" she thought to her self. She looked back up at the leader, "Frostpaw" he meowed, motioning her up. She jumped up so fast she thought she was going to jump out of her pelt. She ran up to Sandstar.
Frostpaw needs a mentor.

As Silvertail looked around the group of cats as Sandstar called out "Silvertail can you come here?"answered. Silvertail "Yes" replied confidently walking to the great rock.

Frostpaw was excited to become an apprentice, she had dreamed about it when she was a kit, and now her dreams were coming true! "Silvertail, will you mentor Frostpaw?" Sandstar asked her. Frostpaw couldn't sit still, Sandstar put his tail on her back to keep her still.

"Yes I will," trying to keep her self calm. She felt like a apprentice herself.

"Then Frostpaw, this is your new mentor." Sandstar meowed. The clan shouted "Frostpaw Frostpaw" Frostpaw turned to face her mentor.

Silvertail went to Frostpaw's ear and whispered to her "are you that exited?Because i see in your eyes" in innocent smile. :)

She nodded to her mentor. "Can we go train?" she asked, her eyes wide.

"Tommorrow you need all your energy for training"she said backing away from her apprentice. "You know you can stay with until silverpelt comes out."she answered with a smirk.

"Okay." she said as she jumped off the rocks she ran over to her apprentice friends.

Sighing she thought to herself "Wow she is just like me when I was an apprentice. She will have good friends and a good life." Silvertail thought walking to the warrior's den

Frostpaw and her friends ran to the apprentice den and the to the nursery to find kits to play with.

Silvertail called Frostpaw "Frostpaw you want to stay with until Silverpelt comes out?" she said when she was going to get fresh-kill.

"Sure." she meowed as she looked around. She saw a tiny mouse eating a nut by the entrance. She crept along the wall, she crouched down and caught the mouse. "SILVERTAIL!" she yowled running over to her mentor "LOOK WHAT I JUST CAUGHT!" She showed her mentor the plump mouse.

"Wow great job you may become an exellent hunter" Silvertail told her.

She purred.

As they were walking Silvertail asked " Have you ever heard about the badger attack before you were born?"

"No." she said with fear. She had worry in her eyes "Was anyone hurt?" she asked.

" I don't want to scare you , but yes my parents died in the battle when I was a kit. After that we grew stronger, I grew stronger. Our clan never had an attack after that ever again." she said with courage. Silvertail wrapped her tail around Frostpaw ,"but don't be afraid, I'm here."

She smiled "Okay." She looked around, it was getting dark.

"You look very tired. Silverpelt is out can go to the Apprentice's Den." she said kind nosing Frostpaw to the den. After that she went to the Warrior's den and settled in the moss.
