"What's there to catch up on? Your non existent love life?" she asked a little more snobbish than she had meant.

He blinked "That hurt" he said

"I didn't mean it the way it sounded. I promise. I meant for it to be sarcastic, not snobby. Look, I'll come to your house and we can talk about whatever you want okay?" she asked hopefully. She felt really bad.

"Sounds good" he said and began walking towards the direction of his house

She followed him and stayed silent.

She got to his house and waited for him to invite her in.

"You can come in" he said and smiled at her, walking inside

She walked in and immeadiately gasped. She had forgotten how welcoming and cozy his house was.

He smiled and locked the door behind her

She took a seat and said, "I'd forgotten how much I liked your house."

He looked at her and said "Well that's nice to hear"

"Do you ever wonder what it would be like to not live alone?" she asked curiously.

"Well yeah" He said and smiled at her, sitting down on a chair

"Well yeah obviously because you live alone I was talking to myself."she said straghtening out the meaning of her words.
