    IC: Firepaw sniffed around the freshkill pile, trying to find a suitable piece of prey. Leafstorm padded up beside her and mewed something sharply into her ear. Flinching, Firepaw backed away and dashed into the apprentice's den, where she sat shuddering.


    Leafstorm turned and called for Honeypaw. "Let's go!" She yowled. "We need to stock up the freshkill pile!"

    "She said-" she breaks off with a cough. "She said sure." she meows.

    Silverstar padded over to the apprentices den her apprentice was shuddering


    Silverstar took her to the corner of the camp and say down with her " what is the matter with you ?" She asked but her gaze showed she was demanding the answer

    "Yeah, why have you been acting so weird?"mewed Hawkkit as he stood next to Silverstar."hush!"mewed Icecloud as she shooed the tiny kit back ito the nursery.But Icecloud stayed to listen to what the young apprentice was going to say

    Firepaw's ears were slicked back as she gazed at Silverstar. "My...father......" she croaked. "Leafstorm says he will hurt me again....." She shivered as she remembered the old rogue forcing her to learn battle moves, when she was barely old enough to mewl. She absently lapped at the thick scar that parted her shoulder fur, which she had always told Silverstar she gotten from a falling branch.

    Hawkkit slips back into the nursery.

    " and what I want to know is why leafstorm would tell you such things ?" She said fiercely


    Then she turned towards firepaw " you can tell me ANYTHING and I promise I won't judge you and I will always love you , is there anything else you would like to tell me" she asked

    "Oh, thats terrible of your mother, but that rouge is long gone, so you dont have to worry about him coming"mewed Icecloud as she licked firepaw's head.

    Firepaw shuffled away, her tail drooping. "I'm going to go for a walk," she murmured. Once she was in the forest, she leapt up into a tree, and stared across the SkyClan territory. Leafstorm had told her about Leafstar, who was the deputy's mother. Leafstar had rebuilt all of SkyClan, with the help of a Clan leader from far away. Firestar, they had called him. Leafstorm told her tht she was named after the great fiery cat. Lost in her daydreams, she didn't hear the approach of a pack of loners, slowly creeping up on her. "Hello, little kittypet!" the lead she-cat hissed. Bristling, Firepaw whirled around. "I'm an apprentice of SkyClan, not a mewling kittypet!" she spat. Smirking, the loner looked back at her companions and nodded at Firepaw. "Take care of that," she mewed. "We don't take kindly to kittypets getting cheeky.. Do we boys?" A large tabby tom seized Firepaw's tail and yanked her from the tree. Yowling, Firepaw turned her claws on him, shredding his ears. Another tom, a gray, placed a paw at her throat, and pressed his claws into her soft flesh. "Silverstar!" she screamed, before the tom sliced a thin line across her throat, choking off her cries.

    Nightwhisker hears the cry and races off. He finds Firepaw and leaps at a rogue, clawing its' flank.

    Silverstar followed her suddenly she smelled rouge cats among them she smelled... Firepaw she leaped foreword and speeded into the Forest she leaped on the first cat knocking him out then tackled the rest " firepaw follow me" she said urgently

    Firepaw stood up, and hissed feebly. She swayed on her paws, her blood spattering in the sand. "N-Nighwhisker!" she gasped. The rogue that Nightwhisker clawed raced off, howling in pain. The lead she cat took one look at Nightwhisker and turned tail, the others on her heels.

    Nightwhisker races over to Firepaw.


    Brightmoon stretches.

    Honeypaw lept to the side as the badger brought its clawed paw down, rolling and leaping at it. She dug her claws into its muzzle. The badger gave a pained snarl, shaking its head roughly as Hoenypaw tried to hold on.
