    Nicolas laughed at Emma hitting Glenn. He could see that they were average people. Not like terrible bandits, not like the usual people all over this forsaken land. He put his hand forward to Emma and said "My names Nicolas." he paused and smiled a bit "What's yours?"

    She smiled back. "Emma." she said, taking his hand and shaking it. "ANd this idiot is Glenn." she added, pointing her thumb at Glenn.


    "You do know I take that as a compliment!" Glenn said sarcastically.

    Nicolas smiled at both of them. Then drew back his hand and asked "So what are you guys doing around here?" he looked over all the nearby buildings. They were not in a good spot to be honest. If they made anymore noise they could be in serious trouble of attracting hordes.

    "We lived in an apartment nearby. It got overrun by zombies, and we had to fight our way out." she said. "We made a promise to stick together after that." she added. "Though I broke that promise....." shhe mumbled quietly under her breath, not realizing her voice was audible.

    Nicolas said "What do you mean, you and Glenn are both fine right?" he was a bit confused, he was sure she was talking about her and Glenn but he thought there was a possibility that she was also talking about her and some other person or people. He himself had already lost family and knew it was hard, maybe she was talking about that.

    She blushed deeply, and Glenn rubbed his neck awkwardly. "Its, uh, nothing. Just....... I lost someone close. Really close." she said awkwardly, her smile fading. She looked past them both, pretending she was watching a squirrel very closely.

    Nikki then pulled out her binoculars and looked at Emma, Glenn, and Nicolas. Eventually, the twelve year old lost interest in just watching and decided to go talk to them. Nikki ran over and said as soon as she stopped "Hi I'm Nikki White. I was the person that killed those three Walkers, but you don't have to thank me for that."

    Nicolas knew that he should just avoid the topic and carry on with something else. "Well I was just passing threw here, to get to the other side." he thought that would easily change the subject. He didn't know Emma well but he didn't want to see anybody hurt, especially her.

    She nodded. "We were going there too." she said, then saw Nikki. "Oh, hi!" she said.


    Glenn was staring at Nikki.


    Emma slapped him on the back of his head, mumbling 'pervert' under her breath.

    Nicolas turned to Nikki and said "Yeah, thanks, that could have gotten me." that reminded him of the danger, and so did the idea they needed to keep moving. He was distracted by Emma smacking Glenn, it was funny they seemed almost like siblings but they didn't look alike at all.

    Nikki smiled shyly and said "Hey somebody needs to clean this city of Walkers. Speaking of that, I should probably leave you guys alone. Besides, I need to find my older brother Kyle."

    "Ow!!!" Glenn said, rubbing his head.


    "Shut up, that sooo did not hurt!" she said.


    Glenn narrowed his eyes at Emma, and slapped her on the head.


    "OWW!!!!" she said. "What was that for!?!?!?" she asked.


    "Please, that didn't hurt!" Glenn said.


    Emma narrowed her eyes at him. "Don't forget, I'm the one who takes watch tonight." she said, and Glenn shuffled away from her a bit. She smiled happily, then turned to Nikki. "Why don't you come with us? Being in a group is more safe, and we'd have a greater chance of finding our loved ones." she said, her voice cracking softly on the word 'loved ones.'

    Nicolas just watched the conversation between the other people, it was nice to see other people interacting again. And was very nice to see them not ignoring him like most humans before this had.

    Nikki said "Done. By the way, I think I hear some Walkers heading our way.''

    Nikki said "Okay. Ready, set, go!" Next thing, you know Nikki was gone and she was running at like 60 miles per hour.

    OCC: I think we should wait for Relatable~Post~Fanatic to post before going farther


    Nicolas agreed that should get moving. He wasn't sure how much longer they could be safe in the location they were in.

    They watched her run.


    "She does realize we have the Jeep, right?" Glenn asked.


    "We lost the Jeep a week ago, remember?" Emma said.


    "Oh yeah....... Then we should start walking." he said, and started after Nikki.


    Emam looked at Nicholas. "You iN?" she asked, smiling.
