Shadowgaze didn't know why he had said that but he meowed "I'm still here, I would do anything to protect you....Even with my weird complicated life." he smiled turning to meet her gaze as he mewed "I adored you that day we went to the meadow."

"And me..." meowed Shadowgaze as he heard a voice his brother's "You have beaten Thistleclaw so what?You can't beat me." he shuddered as a shadowy shape appeared and made a black cat covered in scars and his eyes were blue.
