Torrak nuzzled her, curling around her to comfort her. He didn't know why he did it but it felt right.

Amanda immediately relaxed. Her breathing went back to the normal, steady rise and fall for a while, but then she woke up. She noticed Torrak next to her, and the same soft purr returned. She nuzzled him slightly, not knowing how he would react.

He smiled warmly at her and licked her ears. He had never felt like this about anyone before. Well, except his little sisters, but that was a protective brotherly love. Somehow, this was something so much more.

She purred and rested her head on his shoulders, sweeping her tail around him, reaching almost halfway.

He licked hher head and closed his eyes, resting his head by her chest.

Her purr excelled rapidly as his head touched her chest. She was asleep, so her conscious, also known as someones truthful side, was all that controlled her.

Torrak smiled and fell asleep, dreaming peacefully.

Amanda woke up well after the sun rose, and lay awake, waiting for Torrak to wake also.

The large tabby yawned and stretched. He opened his eyes and smiled warmly at her.

She purred and nuzzled him. Tears sprung to her eyes and she sat down, emotion taking control of her at her sudden feelings, "Are...are we soulmates?"

Torrak shrugged.
"I dunno." he replied. "But it feels right." -
She smiled, "I hope so," she choked quietly.

He purred, his chest vibrating. He nuzzled her and licked her ears.

She smiled, then got up, "Do you want to take a walk with me?"

He stretched and shook himself.
"Sure." he purred. "Maybe I'll show you the part of the town you don't know." -
She laughed, "Challenge accepted!"

He leaped down and shook himself out, waking up fully. Then, he lead the way outside into the sunlight.

She followed him, giving a few brisk licks to some locks of fur sticking up.

Torrak padded along the thunderpath, a slight breeze ruffling his tabby pelt.
