  • Verne walked around the territory a bit, but then decided the head back to camp. The savannah was confused, and scared. She was pretty sure she was pregnant - And even if she wasn't she had still mated with somebody she didn't love, and well, that just made her feel horrible.

The brown spotted tabby stopped just outside of the entrance, not exactly wanting to go inside just then. She was afraid that they would know.

  • Evanescence, a pretty bobcat hybrid was just heading out the exit of the tunnels when she ran into Verne just outside. Ears pricking, the young hybrid smiled warmly at her. "Oh, hello Verne." She said. "Nice day, isn't it?" Evanescence raised her head to let the wind blow through her thick fur, but when she lowered her head to look back at Verne, she noticed that she looked a bit upset. "Something wrong?"

  • Eva shook her head, "No...Nothings wrong. Not a thing." She said, biting her lower lip. "Yeah...Lovely day." She said, her eyes narrowing. Did she know? Impossible, right? But, maybe not.

  • Evanescence studied the other for a moment before replying. "Are you sure? I mean, it looks like somethings wrong." The bobcat hybrid mewed.

  • Evanescence shrugged to herself, figuring if she wanted to tell her than she would. "How about some hunting? I was just heading out?" The tabby hybrid asked, shaking her fluffy silver and black pelt, and her short tail flicking slightly. If there really was something on Verne's mind, perhaps hunting would distract her.

  • "I actually just got back from hunting..." Sarmask said softly. She had hunted just before the incident with Anti had happened... "But...I could go out again, I suppose." She added with a small shrug.

  • Passing through the treeline Evanescence headed out into a meadow, where she had been first found by a fighter from the tribe. As she padded further into the tall grass the hybrid remembered how he'd taken her into the tunnels, and how fascinating the glow worms had been where she'd first seen them. Now all the worms were were a thing she saw every day, their glow no longer as fascinating as they had been at the first look.

  • Verne continued walking after her, hoping that she wasn't gong to be having kits. IF she did end up pregnant she would love the kits anyway...But she still didn't exactly want them. They would have a father whom she didn't love - And would Anti even be there for the kits? Somehow she doubted that. Shaking her head sadly, she sighed. Why did she mate with Anti? That had probably been the stupidest mistake of her life.

"So, you're pretty interesting looking." The savannah commented, her voice just a notch over a whisper. "In a good way of course."

  • Evanescence pricked her ears, turning her head to look at Verne with a confused expression. "Huh?"

  • Evanescence watched with a questioning look as Verne ran off, but didn't say anything and continued on, looking for prey.

    ooc; out. :)
