Terrain: The Terrain is a frozen Tundra, with a few iced over lakes scattered about. If you North, you will reach large, abandoned ruins with a labyrinth of tunnels underneath. The ruins offer excellent cover for hiding in. They say there is something VERY special hidden in the tunnels underneath the ruins, if you dare to brave them.
By traveling west, you meet a stretch of dessert that connects with the ruins. There are dangerous scorpions and other creatures in the dessert, but it is also a great place to hide, if no one else goes there as well. If one knows how, they can actually survive in the desert.
If one heads south, they will come upon large, snowy mountains, as well as the possibility of a few hidden mountain valleys. These mountains are inhabitated by murderous mountains goats that push you off the edges of cliffs or smash you against rock walls.
If you head east, you find more mountains, these ones slightly icier. However, on the other side is a forest, and then a large freshwater lake past the forest.
Prey:
Grosling
Squirrel
Tree rats
Rabbits
fish
[spoiler=Mutts, Traps, and everything evil]
Gopher Mutts: these vicious little guys resemble gophers, except they hunt in packs. Digging wide pits, they kill their victims by trapping them inside and then attacking together and devouring them.
Leopard mutts: These swift and vicious creatures have fur that resembles the hair color of the dead tributes. The spots on their fur also make up the district numbers
Murderous Mountain Goats
Wild Dogs
Giant poisonous butterflies in the forest.
Cool! Hey, that's what you get for reading the books! Also, posinous dart frogs. The reaction is your muscles fail but you're still alive, but you can't move (Mom's idea!)
How about birds instead of bees, and they try to fly away with your weapons AND food?
Mottled brown, like tree bark, so they naturally blend in. They will have the body structure of a hummingbird, but be the size of a dove. They fly in swarms, and are harmless as one or two, but dangerous in a pack. They also won't cause any physical harm, but instead just steal everything you own.
Traps and etc.
A maze of tunnels underneath the ruins.
Hey, I'm here. What about a rain that if you get hit by it your skin starts to boil (Like in Catching Fire) but you turn Zombie and try to kill the tributes as a Capital mutt thing?
