    [spoiler=Mutts, Traps, and everything evil]
Gopher Mutts: these vicious little guys resemble gophers, except they hunt in packs. Digging wide pits, they kill their victims by trapping them inside and then attacking together and devouring them.

Leopard mutts: These swift and vicious creatures have fur that resembles the hair color of the dead tributes. The spots on their fur also make up the district numbers

    Murderous Mountain Goats

    Wild Dogs

Giant poisonous butterflies in the forest.

Cool! Hey, that's what you get for reading the books! Also, posinous dart frogs. The reaction is your muscles fail but you're still alive, but you can't move (Mom's idea!)

How about birds instead of bees, and they try to fly away with your weapons AND food?
Mottled brown, like tree bark, so they naturally blend in. They will have the body structure of a hummingbird, but be the size of a dove. They fly in swarms, and are harmless as one or two, but dangerous in a pack. They also won't cause any physical harm, but instead just steal everything you own.

    Traps and etc.
A maze of tunnels underneath the ruins.

Hey, I'm here. What about a rain that if you get hit by it your skin starts to boil (Like in Catching Fire) but you turn Zombie and try to kill the tributes as a Capital mutt thing?

  • Hello, Sherlock. What did you have in mind for the arens. I was thinking you have two options, one: frozen tundra OR the desert and if they go far enough, they reach the forest.

  • I like frozen tundra, which maybe gives way to abandoned ruins if you travel far enough north or west, and traveling south/east you reach mountains, and eve a VERY short stretch of fresh water.

  • I like that idea. We could hide venomous snakes in the ancient ruins and spider mutts or something if you want.

  • Definitey snakes, and polar bears too.

we should also lay out ice fishing equipment for those brave enough to go for it.

  • Yeah. Where do you want the cornucopia? Or should there be more than one?

  • Kay, what should we have? Gloves? Coats? Swords to cut holes? Ice fishing poles? Maybe some stuff for mountains like packs, pullies, bandages? But one of each thing, this way it's even harder.

  • yes. Say, maybe two or three 'mountains packs' with blankets and fire kits.. then a couple jackets... and some weapons. A bow and arrow...swords, daggers.

  • Yeah! Gotta go teh sleep now. You can keep brainstorming if you want. I need sleep. :-X

  • Alright im back! For the ancient ruins, we could have things like axes and mining picks for them to move giant stones, maybe one set of pullies and ropes.

  • Yeah! We're neglecting the forest. Umm, we could hide scattered supplies back there, like armor and arrows and knives in bushes and stuff, not as good of stuff as the cornucopia, but enough to let you live a little longer! And like in the 50'th hunger games, you know, where Haymitch won, there should be those candy pink birds that killed Maysilee Donner, and those wolf mutts roaming the forest.

  • LOL! The thought of killer gopher mutts makes me laugh ;D. But yeah, great idea! Should we do some fish mutts too? For the water area? Not all of the fish you catch are safe. Some are giant, six inch fanged, poisonous fish mutts that eat you alive when they're angry! >:D
