The gray tabby blinked his blue eyes before speaking. "All Reapers, please join me right outside the camp, in the clearing, for a Reaper Meeting." he hushed himself, and then stepped down from the rock. He padded outside of the camp and to the clearing that he had spoken of before, and then waited. Once all the Reapers were there, he began his meeting. "Hello, guys." he smiled ot them. "As most of you already know, Cloudfeather, our Head Reaper, has died. This left the leaders with a choice on who to appoint as the new Head Reaper, adn they chose me. As the new Head Reaper, I am to choose the new Reaper that wuill take the place I used to have. I already know who this is going to be, but I will hold a different meeting for that. At this moment, I would like us all to take turns speaking about how you are doing, how you are doing with your Reaper position, and any new requests that you would like to make." he looked at Tumbltdusk, Cheetahspeed, Ryko, and Zerodegrees. "anyone want to go first?"[/justify][/fancypost] [align=center]

    [size=8]Zerodegrees followed Rippletail out of the camp, her just-cleaned black and white pelt flashing in the sun. She had been one of the original Reapers, and remember the time when they all used to communicate. Now it was just... poof.


    "I will," the blue eyes of the she-cat blinked. She sat down and wrapped her tail around her paws delicately. "I am doing fine. I haven't had many jobs lately, but the ones I have had have went smoothly. I feel we need to communicate more. Sometimes, I don't know who's a Reaper and who's not anymore." It was true. She hadn't know Ryko was a Reaper since a while ago when a tom had mentioned them to her.


    Zero wished to sit by Tumultdusk. He was the only one Zerodegrees was the closest with. They were promoted together.

    [justify]Rippletail nodded in great agreement. "Yes, I understand how you feel. I think that since Hawkclan has been getting more dramatic, none of us Reapers have been able to see each other, or really take our stand as a high positon in this clan. We all need to be close friends." he remembered wehn he was first appointed by his good cougar fried, who had died. Hawkstar had been so proud of him, how he missed his mentor. He shook the momories from his head, and waited for the next cat to speak. He hoped they would be done soon, he couldn't wait to tell them who the next Reaper would be.[/justify]

    "I would first like to say that I hope Cloudfeather's spirit reaches his mother's in Starclan," mewed Cheetahspeed out of respect for Cloudfeather and Fallenleaf. The ginger tom nodded in agreement with Rippletail and Zero. "The apprentices' testing is a good task for us. We are always associated with death and I think helping younger cats reach their goals is... It helps us feel proud. Myself, at least."

    The dark maine coon appeared from the his den, nodding in agreement to the last bits he'd managed to hear. "Yes, I agree," he added solemnly, seating himself beneath Rippletail. "Not only this, but we should have more meetings if we are to know each other better." Ryko's words were simple, and the next announcement would be an interesting one as well.


    The reaper's thoughts instantly flashed back to his days in Bloodclan; it was different now, with more freedoms and the ability to be more open.

    [justify]"Thank you, Cheetahspeed, Ryko." Rippletail replied. "I see that we are all on the same page. Do you guys think that we should have more responsibilities, and become a greater part of the clan?"[/justify]

    [size=8]Zero nodded as she looked around at the others. "I do. I feel that we should have a very expanded job. Sometimes I have a lot of free time. It would help keep us on our toes!" The black and white she-cat smiled, feeling that all these cats had something in common. They could at least agree on things.

    "Yes, it would make more sense, especially given our position," Ryko replied honestly. "But what more could we do, without overpowering a deputy position or leader position?"

    [justify]Rippletasil smiled to Ryko, and nodded. "Exactly, that's the problem. i was thinking about asking Willowstar and Whitestar if we could do naming cereomnies, but that kind of seems like the Leader's and the Deputies job, and they already have four cats doing that, Whitestar, Willowstar, Wintercloud, and Pergerineskies." he cocked his head, wondering what else they could possibly do.[/justify]

    Peregrineskies. It seemed like only yesterday when the co-deputy had been his apprentice. Ryko shook his head to clear away his thoughts.


    "Right. Perhaps we could help organize battles? Like battle-organizers? Or take on reaper apprentices of our own?"

    Rippletail nodded, thinking hard. "I like the battle idea, but the Reaper Apprentices would be too over-board, because there isn't really anything a Reaper can do that a Warrior can't, we just have a job. But the battles, I love that one! Maybe we could bring that up to the leaders." he thought more.

    Ryko nodded, understanding the idea. "Yes, it would be. But, back to the battle-organizers, it could help the clan in more ways than one." The idea was a smart one, he knew, and perhaps Whitestar and Willowstar would agree.

    Rippletail flciekd his tail and nodded a bit. "Yes, it would" he smiled. "Onto our next topic. Would you guys like to know who I have chosen for the new Reaper, or would you like to wait until the meeting?"

    Ryko flicked his tail, nodding in enthusiasm. "Go ahead, tell us. I'm not one for too much suspense." There was a twinkle of humor in his glowing amber eyes, something that hadn't shown in quite a long time. "Who?"

    Rippletail loved the look in Ryko's eyes, and answered, "At the moment, I'm thinking about Acidvortex. I mgith change my mind, since I still have a bit of time to think, but he seems like a good choice. If not, do you guys have any suggestions?"

    Acidvortex. Wasn't he one of the cats that had been attacked by wolves? "Perhaps. He'd be a good choice." After a few more moments of consideration, Ryko spoke again. "Yes, I can't think of anyone better to fill your position. Besides, I'm sure he's be proud to step up."

    Rippletail smiled when Ryko agreed with him. He already trusted this cat because of his wise mind, and he didn't even know him that well. "Yes, I got to know him when he took my sister as his mate."

    I spoke with Switchy, and she said no to the Ceremonies, and we are still speaking about the battle-organizers, but I'm pretty sure we have that one. c:

    Ryko nodded. "Yes, I just met him a few sunrises ago. He and Chemicalvirus were attacked by wolves." The tom flinched as he remembered the experience. Both warriors had received serious injuries.

    "What's her name?" Ryko felt almost embarrassed asking this, especially considering it was about the head reaper himself. But then again, if he didn't know something, why not ask it?
