Gentlebreeze wanted to help. "I'll be back with some burdock and coltsfoot. Coltsfoot isn't as harsh-tasting as tansy, and burdock is good for anything cold or fever related. Thank Starclan for the few moons I spent trying to be a medicine cat!" He added with a laugh. He ran off into the forest to find the herbs he had mentioned. First to the river, coltsfoot likes moisture. He found some a few fox lengths from the bank. Burdock he found in the tall grass near the forest. He dug up the root and harvested it, regardless of the burrs getting caught in his short fur.

Quirrelseek sat with the dead cats body. He looked around hopelessly, then looked back at the cat. Images flashed in front his eyes, but way too blurry. He was hopeless also. He waited for Skyspots, feeling a bit bad for the deputy. But Quirrelseek had a job, so he watched the body and waited for the deputy to return. He sat quietly, continuing to look around. Skyspots had been gone for a while, should he be worried? He just shook his head, and waited.

Skyspots swiftly made it to the burial place and began digging a deep grave. She attacked the ground with sharp claws and kicked up a flurry of dirt in the opposite direction of Quirrelseek. Once she was done, the deputy hopped put of the hole with dirty fur caked with clumps of dirt and mud and tiny pebbles.
"That should be deep enough." Skyspots panted.
