    "whoa whoa what? fight you? well alright...if my claws come unsheathed its not my fault" she sighed, her head dipping low, her tail twitching

    Badgerpaw made a fake battle cry and lunged at Taintedheart, claws sheathed. Featherpaw cheered, "C'mon!" A rustle in the bushes sounded, and a brown apprentice appeared, unusually large eyes glistening. "Is there something going on that I should know about?" He asked, fluffy tail twitching. Featherpaw sighed. Oh no, it's Owlpaw. Badgerpaw didn't here Owlpaw coming in, so he kept fighting. Owlpaw sat down next to Featherpaw. "Jeepers, Badgerpaw's good! Wait, who's she?" He sprang to his paws, bristling. Featherpaw laid her tail on the older apprentice. "She's going to be the future member of our Clan!" She meowed calmly. Owlpaw snorted. "That's not going to happen until you talk to the leader, Featherpaw." The dusky apprentice reminded her. Featherpaw sprang to her paws, hissing. "Shut up Owlpaw!" She roared. Owlpaw stumbled back, eyes wide. "StarClan forbid, Featherpaw's angry!!" He taunted. He ran over to Badgerpaw, who lost his balance and fell over. "My goodness, Featherpaw's saying this cat's going to be in our Clan, is that true?" He whispered. Badgerpaw nodded. "Well, if our leader approves!" He meowed. Owlpaw lashed his tail. "That's what I told her! Your girlfr- I mean, friend, thinks she's the new leader." He snarled. Badgerpaw's eyes widened. "That's so not like her." He meowed slowly. Owlpaw's eyes filled with tears."It seems like I annoy her, and my mother said I should try my best to be the best warrior I can before she passed..." Badgerpaw laid his tail on his friend. "I know."

    Taintedheart backed up, her ears flat, her red eye clenched shut "i dont know whats going on, but stop bothering my two young friends, they have done nothing but help me, i dont care if your part of their clan" she stated sitting up and licking her paw, cleaning her ear

    Badgerpaw looked at Taintedheart. "Taintedheart, it's cool. He's my friend. Owlpaw, meet Taintedheart." He shot a sideways glance at Owlpaw. "What Clan was she in?" Owlpaw asked curiously. Badgerpaw rolled his eyes. "She wasn't in any Clan." He meowed slowly. Owlpaw's eyes glistened in puzzlement. "But she has a Clan name. Sorry Taintedheart." He apologized, dipping his head. Featherpaw scooted over to them. "I am sorry, Owlpaw." She whispered. Owlpaw shrugged. "No harm done besides the growing hole in my heart." His voice cracked. Badgerpaw looked at Owlpaw in sympathy. This young cat has been through a lot, his mother's death, his father turning out to be a murderer, his only sibling being killed by his ambitious father, him running away to this Clan...

    "i have my name because i gave it to myself, after my mate was killed by a rouge my heart was tainted by anger, thats why i call myself Taintedheart, its not because of some clan" she stated, her tail twitching, her eyes narrowed, her red eye showing

    Owlpaw nodded slowly, and dipped his head in sympathy. "I was once a member of BloodClan. They were blood thirsty, alright, and, well, my father murdered my only sibling. My mom killed herself with the hope that my dad would see what love really is and take care of me. But no. He abandoned me. BloodClan tried to make me murder my friend to show how loyal I was, but I ran away." He meowed, the sounds of screaming echoing in his head. Badgerpaw laid his tail on Owlpaw's shoulder, and Featherpaw copied.

    "terribly sorry for your loss but family is stupid sometimes" she sighed her eyes on the ground "but thats all in the past, we need to move forward in life...focus on finding new friendships" she stated "oy i sound like a motivational speaker" she muttered shaking her head

    Owlpaw sprang to his paws, bristling. "Family isn't stupid!" He spat, words like a killing blow in one's final battle. "Family comes first, and I have a family, but it's not my fault they are all dead!" Tears sprang to his amber eyes and he roared, "But how do you know, you never had a family to love!"

    she backed up and winced like he just hit her "what would you know!? my family was killed by a rouge! you have no room to talk you mousebrain!" she hissed, barreling past them "forget it, i dont want to join your stupid clan!" she yeowled racing away.

    Badgerpaw pelted after her, and Featherpaw pinned Owlpaw to the ground, eyes blazing. "You are an idiot! You're stupid! Oh, and guess what? I don't want to be in your Clan! Go to the Dark Forest, fox-dung! Taintedheart has been through more than you could ever imagine!" She spat in his face. Then, she whipped around and streaked after Badgerpaw and Taintedheart, leaving Owlpaw alone, eyes tearing up. FAMILY IS NOT STUPID!! He shrieked silently.


    Badgerpaw caught up to Taintedheart. "Please, come back. We need to talk.'' He pleaded.

    "my mate...my kit...left me to hunt...then when i came back...a rouge was standing over them...i never even got to spend a new moon to full moon with my kit..." she muttered staring off into the distance "they left me after i told them not to...after i told them there was a rouge wandering around with blood on his claws" she whispered "my family was stupid and didnt listen..." she muttered, then looked up at Badgerpaw "did i hurt your friend? i didnt mean to if i did..." she murmered

    Badgerpaw stared at the ground. "Owlpaw has had a rough life- he doesn't take everything normally." He whispered. Featherpaw caught up to them. "If anyone hurt him, I did. How stupid is that piece of FD!" She spat.


    FD= Fox dung.

    she stifled a laughter, then squared her shoulders "i...i would like to try again with your friend, i know its a long shot but right now, i could use all the help i can get" she stated, kneeding at the ground

    Badgerpaw nodded, along with Featherpaw. They took her back to the pacing Owlpaw, who looked at Taintedheart with wide, sad eyes.
