    "im sorry..." she whispered "i didnt mean to do it..." she added putting a paw on her nose "i cant control it if some one pushes me over the edge..." she muttered looking at Badgerpaw "look kid...you did well on the way you followed me, your courage is great, but try not to get to close to a scared cat...im sorry for hitting your nose" she stated sighing

    "you...go ahead ill follow...i dont think she would be happy to see me now that she knows that i killed her mother..." she sighed standing slowly "you know your a nice kid...your kind even though i hit you" she stated chuckling slightly

    Badgerpaw smiled. "I get that a lot. Most warriors say that I am like a she-cat for a boy, you know how they are kind and soft-hearted." He meowed back.


    Featherpaw sat by the lake, looking at her reflection, tears welling out of her eyes like a waterfall.

    she mrrowed with ausement "your alright kiddo, now come on, lets find your friend" she stated smiling, she felt her anger dissolve, she was happy, happy that she had someone to talk to that wouldnt run in fear of her red eye.

    Badgerpaw led Taintedheart to the lake, only to flinch at Featherpaw's body hunched over the lake. "There she is. Let me settle things down, and when I wave my tail, you come over." He whispered before padding towards her. "Featherpaw, you can't be so upset. You knew something like this was going to happen. Someone had to confess of the murder. And it wasn't Taintedheart's fault. I bet she was misjudged and depressed just like you, and she couldn't help it. Maybe one of her parents got murdered and anger got the most of her." He meowed gently. Featherpaw sniffled. "Yeah, I guess you're right." She whispered, voice cracking. Badgerpaw waved his tail.

    Taintedheart stepped forward, her head bowed "look kiddo im sorry about that...i didnt know she had kits...even if i did i wouldnt have been able to control my anger...im sorry" she stated sitting, her eyes closed and her head bowed

    she purred slowly, "you two are really nice, im sure your clan is happy to have warriors like yoursevles" she stated, tilting her head

    "i didnt say you were" she laughed nearly falling over, but finding her balance one more and laughing again "you two are funny" she purred

    Featherpaw stuck out her tongue at her playfully. "We get that a lot!" She purred. Badgerpaw nodded, then blushed when he stated, "Everyone thinks we should be- er- mates." He added.

    she stared at the two then smiled "thats cute, you two would make a cute couple but your a little young..." she purred "i wish my mate was here...stuid loner" she spat, then shook her head fiercly "no thats in the past..." she muttered to herself "sorry...my mind got the better of me for a second" she chuckled nervously

    Featherpaw's eyes widened and she whispered something to Badgerpaw. Badgerpaw smiled and said this seriously, "Taintedheart would you like to join our Clan?"

    her eyes widened and she backed up slowly "i...dont know...im not good around other cats..." she muttered "im afriad i would kill someone by accident..." she stated looking at the pair

    Featherpaw's eyes glowed. "Well we thought you'd say that but we'd teach you not to kill other cats!" She said in a silly voice, and Badgerpaw couldn't hold back a laugh.
