"Yeah, come on, Chef will want to meet you, he wants to meet everyone!" Oskarri mewed. Yael and Sookie were very curious, so they followed him down the hall and to the lunch room.

Jet blinked in surprise. She quickly bolted after the group.
-
In the lunch room there were cats, lots of cats, all eating and talking with friends. "Chef, there's new students!" Oskarri mewed to a window in the wall. A scruffy grey tom with a amber eye and a green eye poked his head out the window. "So there is, I haven't seen new students since Oskarri and his sister came" the tom observed.
-
Jet smiled and dipped her head, "I'm Jet. Nice to meet you, Chef."
-
"Well hello Jet, you're the big one, who are the little ones?" Chef asked. "I'm Yael sir" Yael mewed "And I'm Sookie!" Sookie replied. "Well they're full of energy, welcome to the academy" chef mewed before going inside and coming back out with four mice. "Here's breakfast for you four, caught just this morning trying to eat the nuts off the trees" he mewed before vanishing again.
-
"Thank you!" Jet called after him. She sniffed the mouse. It smelt great. Her stomch grumbled. She hadn't realized how hungry she was till now. She took a bite.
-
"It's good right? let's eat over here, out of the way" Oskarri said, taking his food over to a corner. Sookie and Yael followed, taking a bite, it tasted good, like nuts and something else, maybe a spice of some sort Sookie thought. "Sis, come join us!" Oskarri called, and a elegant silver tabby walked over. She was silver rather than white like her brother, but their eyes were a matching shade of blue.
-
Jet picked up her mouse and followed them. She suddenly felt nervous. The cafeteria was fill with cats. Many more than what she used to being around.
-
Sookie and Yael were used to a lot of cats around them. In fact, the gentle buzz of early morning activity felt like home. "Jet, Sookie, Yael, this is my sister Kina" Oskarri mewed "Hello!" Kina mewed brightly.
-
Jet gave her a friendly smile, "Hello, Kina. I'm Jet."
-
"Nice to meet you, I already ate so I have to get to class, see you later!" Kina gave her brother a goodbye lick on the forehead and left. "Let's eat, then I have to get to class, and you can go exploring, because your classes start tomorrow" Oskarri said, digging into his mouse.
-
Jet tucked into her own mouse. She was slowly growing adjusted to all of the cats.
-
Sookie and Yael gulped down their mice eagerly, happy to be here.
-
After she ate, Jet looked around the room at all the cats. There were so many different colors. Some of which she had never seen before. She suddenly realized how big the world really was, and how much she had been missing out on.
-
"It's so different but home, but so exciting!" Yael and Sookie mewed.
-
Jet nodded in agreement, "This is completely different from my home." She smiled, "But you're right. It's downright exciting."
-
"Yeah, let's go explore after breakfast!" Yael suggested.
-
Jet nodded, "Sounds great to me." She meowed with a bright smile.
-
Yael and Sookie quickly ate the rest of their mouse and got up, ready to explore.
-
Jet stood when her friends finished and began to make her way towards the exit of the cafeteria, her eyes shining with excitment.
