    "no, i do!" he stared at her with shocked eyes. "but we haven't been together for long. kits are a big responsibility and i'm nervous."

    "we could have kits now, if you want my love," he mewed.

    "yes, now that i think about it." he smiled too.

    smoke nodded. "they'll be wondering where we are."

    he caught a fish, a wren, and 2 starlings.

    he set down the warm prey and got a mouse.

    he returned a huge smile and sat down next to his mate.

    "what do you mean?" he frowned slightly.

    "we love eachother. i'm part of the clan, aren't i?"
