Aspenheart padded out of the nursery with his mate, Goldenrain, beside him. Their four kits tumbled out after them and circled their father as he sat down. Goldenrain shushed them and told them to sit down.

dawnstar looked at her clan proudly. "We will have new apprentices tonight. By naming apprentices we show that Dawnclan will remain strong. Rainkit please step up here. Aspenheart, you are now ready to take on an apprentice. You will be the mentor to Rainkit. Aspenheart, you have shown yourself to be worthy to mentor an apprentice. I'm sure you will pass on all you know to this apprentice. Rainkit you are now known as Rainpaw" she meowed

Rainkit looked up at Ravenstar and nodded shyly before ducking her head and walking over to Aspenheart.

Rainkit kept looking at her paws as she sat by her. She only looked up to touch noses with Aspenheart.

Dawnstar now beconed Fiercekit up, "Fiercekit is also ready to become an apprentice. Dawnflower you also are ready to get an apprentice. You will be the mentor for Fiercekit. I know you will pass down your knowledge down to this apprentice. Fiercekit you will now be known as Fiercepaw"
Mosspelt cheered for her kits happily and proud
Fiercepaw stepped back to meet her new mentor. She could hear the clan chanting "Fiercepaw and Rainpaw." she felt so happy

Rainpaw nodded and looked up at Aspenheart, waiting for him to lead the way.

Aspenheart padded out of camp with Rainpaw, "Come on" he said, "we're starting with the east border," he said, he stared padding toward the east border

Rainpaw followed close behind, her pawsteps not making a single sound. She did not speak, either.

"Ok, so thats the territory, you might as well go pick a nest in the apprentices den now, you must be tired" he said yawning

Rainpaw merely nodded and headed to the Apprentices den, never being heard.
