  • Fallenpaw slid out of their hiding place as well, tilting his head back to watch the black speck in the sky disappear. "That was just as cool as last time!"

  • "Yeah!" Gingerpaw grinned, before laying down on her stomach. She lifted her paw, and rubbed it against her face. "Now what?"

  • Fallenpaw shrugged, glancing at Gingerpaw. "Hm.. what do you wanna do?"

  • "I really don't know..." Gingerpaw meowed absentmindedly. She hid her paw behind her body, and scooped up a small clump of dirt. Hopefully by surprise, Gingerpaw threw the ball of mud towards Fallenpaw.

  • Fallenpaw stumbled as he was hit by the dirt, before shaking himself out and turning around to face Gingerpaw. "What was that for?!" he exclaimed, before scooping up some dirt himself and chucking it at his fellow apprentice.

  • "Well, it's funny." Gingerpaw giggled, before the mud splatted her right in her face. She wrapped her tail around to her face, and wiped off some of the dirt. "Oh, no, you didn't!" The ginger she-cat giggled, before lunging towards Fallenpaw.

  • "Yeah, I did!" laughed Fallenpaw, falling to the ground from Gingerpaw's tackle. He batted at her ears and shoulders, trying to dislodge her.

  • Gingerpaw grunted. Fallenpaw's dislodge worked. The ginger she-cat rolled off of the tomcat, before she tried to kick lightly at him from the side.

  • Fallenpaw squirmed away as Gingerpaw kicked out at him, grinning down at her as he stood up. "I'm gonna getchyou!" he exclaimed, waggling his hind quarters and pouncing.

  • Gingerpaw didn't have enough time to roll onto her stomach, because Fallenpaw landed on her chest and stomach. A tiny grunt could be heard from her chest, before she tried to roll onto her stomach.

  • Fallenpaw fell off of Gingerpaw, landing at her side on his flank. He laughed, batting at her with his white paws.

  • Gingerpaw giggled, rolling onto her back. "Time, time. I'm tired. You win."

  • Fallenpaw laughed, laying on his side and glancing at Gingerpaw curiously. Even covered in dirt she was pretty... wait. What was he thinking?! He shook his head violently, telling himself that Gingerpaw was only his friend, and that was that. To cover up his internal conflict, the tabby apprentice began grooming the debris out of his fur.

  • I never knew he was actually this cute... Gingerpaw sighed quietly, before her eyed widened. Wait. Did she actually just say that to herself? They were only friends. And, anyway, he wouldn't like her like that. Would he?

  • Fallenpaw looked up from his grooming, noticing that Gingerpaw's eyes were wide with surprise, or maybe.. shock? "What?" he asked, looking around, and twisting this way and that to see what had disturbed Gingerpaw. "What is it?"

  • "What?" Gingerpaw blinked with wide eyes at Fallenpaw, before she realized that her eyes were wide. From the thought of thinking Fallenpaw was actually cute. "Oh, nothing. I was just thinking about some...thing."

  • "Oh..." muttered Fallenpaw, who looked at his pelt to see that his squirming had made him even dirtier. He laughed. "Must've been a weird though then, huh?" He gave another small laugh before rewashing himself.

  • "N-No, not really. I kinda liked the thought..." Gingerpaw bit her lower lip for a second. Hopefully, Fallenpaw had no idea what she was even talking about. It was make the whole thing less awkward.

  • Fallenpaw glanced at her before shrugging and giving a small nod. "Well, um, okay then," he replied, shaking out his fur. He stretched his legs, purring as a flash of sunlight found the pair. "Today's a good day."

  • "Great day." Gingerpaw purred loudly, basking in the sun through her skin. It felt so good to just lie in the sun.
