He puffed steam out of his nose.

Ander looked up at the sky. "I have to get home, Laniel."

He tilted his hand then hopped to another branch.

"Stay here, alright?" Ander climbed down.

He tilted his head and watched him.

"I have to go. Don't let anyone see you."

He squealed and rested his head on the branch.

Ander smiled and raced back towards his house.

Safaia landed beside her trainer and huffed.

'Why are you looking so grumpy?' She looked over at the other rider.

He watched him go then slipped up higher into the tree.

Ander thought to return the next day.

'Come on, we'd better get "home"' She was referring to the dark, damp cave they lived in.

He swiveled his head to where the noise had come from and let out a squeal, but didn't see her.

Ander heard the squeal. Had someone found Laniel already? Ander raced back towards the tree.

He scrabled down the tree and let out another squeal.

"What? What is it?" Ander asked worridly, running up to Laniel.
