  • Soon enough, the tom had found the sparrow. His sky blue eyes narrowed, and he crouched down. "This time, I promise, I promise that I will catch my first bird..." The lilac-point murmured to himself. He crept forward, tail straight and still, and again gathered the energy and power into his hind legs. Memoirpaw was definitely ready this time to jump up again in case the sparrow flew off. But, suddenly, a thrush landed on the ground near the sparrow. The tom started, amazed that he might actually get two birds with one leap!
