    A golden pelt flashed brightly as a small she-kit pelted acrost a thunder path. her once bright green eyes wide and painced. she stoped at an ally way. traped. a green cat lumbered behind her. "Come her Ruekit... Come to your mother.." mussed the Zombie Cat as it hobbled on three legs. it slowly but steadly creept towrds the kit.
    "help!"
    walded the kit, hoping someone had heard.

    Hope, a nearby loner she-cat, had heard the cry for help and curiously followed it; her friend Rainpaw following behind. Rainpaw was recently kicked out of his clan for aiding an injured wolf who then attacked the clan, he had been with Hope ever since, a fictional mother to the young apprentice. "Hello?" Hope called out as they entered the alley.

    "Hello!" Hope repeated louder as she could see two small figures in the distance "wait here a second" she said to her apprentice as she delved deeper into the darkness.


    Rainpaw was about to object but would rather stand there than wander into a dead end alley, his green eyes scanned the scene curiously as he worriedly looked down at his paws.

    Ruekit backed agest the wall, her fur fluffed up. the Zombie Cat ( her dead mother) hissed at Rainpaw and Hope, turning to them. Ruekit dashed away. the zombie allowed the kit. to.
    "more food, yes?"
    "water!"
    wispered Ruekit into Hope's ear.
    "she hates water.''

    Hope nodded slowly, unable to reply in the slight shock of the situation. She gently pushed the small kit behind her towards Rainpaw as she warily watched the zombie cat, her eyes frantically looking around the alley for water.

    Hope frowned and began backing up, not moving her eyes from the strange looking cat.


    Rainpaw softly grabbed the kit and walked out of the alley, setting her down at his side as he watched the other two, "Hope, m-maybe we should go now"

    Hope fell to the floor but quickly tried to push the cat off.


    "Maybe we should go" Rainpaw frowned.

    As Hope struggled to get free, Rainpaw swallowed nervously and took a divew for the zombified cat.

    Hope got to her feet, she grabbed Ruekit and ran the way she hd told them to.


    Rainpaw watched the zombie for a moment in concern before following.
