Mark said, " I think we need another lightbulb. " He got his toolbox and got a lightbulb out.

She smiled, taking the lightbulb. "Probably." she said. She changed the light bulb, then tried turning it on. Nothing happened. "I guess the electricity went out." she said, her voice slightly shaky. She was still a tiny bit shaken from hurricane (its either Hugo or Katrina).

He nodded and said, " I think something went wrong, and the power disappeared for now. I think a couple other states have power-outs too. "

"probably. Anyway. I have some candles somewhere..." she said, walking forward, and immediately face planting.

Mark walked towards her and said, " Are you ok? " He hoped that Caroline was ok so he wouldn't have to panic.

She stood up, rubbing her head. "Yeah, I'm fine." she said. She picked up teh thing she had tripped on. It was a guitar. "Ugh. Charlotte left this here again!" she said, setting the guitar back into its place.

Mark nodded. " Sometimes, my face gets sticky by Vermont's syrup. " He said.

Caroline laughed. "Nice." she said, then felt her way through teh house, til she had lit a bunch of candles.

Mark smiled, feeling the warmth and seeing the light of candles. It felt very calm and relaxing to him.
