  • OOC: Fighting possibly?

Brightstar's orange fur fluffed out some when the strange she-cat talked to them. He slid his claws out, instantly alert and suspicious of Trinity. "You're not my mother!" THe tom growled angrily, and his tail lashed against the bush to displace more loose needles. He shook them off his head when they landed in irritation, then glared at at the cat.

"I'm not going to sit by and watch them fight. We can help them win." He retorted. He wiggled past some of the branches until he was closer to the stranger than Lola was. In some way, he felt that since Luxx wasn't beside the bush, that he had to protect her in his absence.

"Don't try to butt into other cats' buisness where it doesn't concern you." He mewed cooly, eyes narrowed slightly. He normally wouldn't have said something like that, but he felt anxious to not crouch in a safe hidey hole until the danger was over. He didn't want to sit and watch on the sidelines, without having the chance to help. If they didn't win...Brightstar shut his eyes, for one horrible moment imagining LUxx dying, leaving Lola and him to travel on their own.

He wasn't old enough to be totally on his own yet, he hadn't been taught all there was to survive! That fueled part of his urge to help, that no one die and so he wouldn't be left to die. He in some way thought Luxx was an omnipotent force that nothing was better than, but he still fet the panic of being left with Lola, too similar to what had happened to him before.

"Yeah, we need to practice our fighting moves." He agreed with a head bob. He didn't know why Trinity would care so much, anyways.

  • Piercing lapis burned into the slim mottled intruder, their master brooding shadowy thoughts laced with violent intentions. A bit winded, the frazzled calico snorted in exasperation, What does this runty mousebrain think she's trying to pull, anyway? Prickling and catching on her sensitive paw pads, the thorny barb still sat abrasively in the she-cat's black foot. Foxdung... Horseflight would've preferred to clean out the wound properly, but it seemed like that would have to wait.

In one abrupt motion the lithe feline picked up the afflicted paw, clenched the offender between needle-sharp incisors, and pried it free- causing a gush of dark, sticky crimson. Flood of scarlet now clotting in the soft fur between the toes, the wily female made a point of flinging the wooden spear at her adversary's feet. "Now I'm curious- how did two neurotic house cat rejects get loose?"

  • OOC: I thought the assasins were in two groups? Sorority had two others with her I thought and Cyrill was with Horseflight trying to even the score while the others were plotting :X

Cyrill dug his odd numbered claws in the debris that had fallen from the trees, "I believe I can handle my own tongue Horse."

  • OOC: well, I have Korova, Stormshadow, Luxx, and now Trinity here xD wanted to have reinforcements and also Trin is trying to keep the kits from getting into it and possibly getting hurt...

IC: Stormshadow was watching and waiting, muscles tensed under golden-swirled fur.

Korova had his long ivory claws sunk deep into the ground, waiting to see if the other cats would make a move. They were outnumbered now that Luxx and the other tom were here. His ears caught the sound of movement a little ways off and he picked up the scent of another cat but he didn't lose his focus on the immediate threat.

Luxx smirked, looking from their lot to the attackers. This would be interesting.

Trinity narrowed her blue-gray eyes a moment as the small tom-kit got a bit moody. "Well young man. You want to learn fighting skills? You go out there and you won't get the chance. They won't hesitate to kill you just because you're young and inexperienced. If anything, that makes you more of a target. You want to help your friend and protect this little one?" She meowed, gesturing to the small cream colored kit that was under the bush with him. "Well then you keep your fiesty little self here. If you go out there you not only endanger your own life, but you endanger everyone elses as well. They will try to protect you and her because the bad guys will go after the easy targets first. You can either narch on in there and try to help and possibly end up dead and getting others killed or hurt as well, or you can stay here where I'm guessing your friend told you to stay and live to learn to fight." She finished with an indignate huff. Her eyes flashed as she finished. She wasn't going to let the two kits get themselves hurt. That was one thing she would prevent if there was anyway she could.

  • Lola looked from Brightstar back to the she-cat that was now giving the tom a lecture because he wanted to go out and help Luxx. She wanted to go out too, but the she-cats words were worrying her now. She was so used to the comfort of her twoleg nest that it was hard for her to truly understand the dangers of other cats, and their fighting as it went on around them. 'But...' She mewed eventually as she took a look at Luxx who was out their in the battle. She wanted him to be safe with them under this bush too. Then she would be happy again. 'Can we go and help Luxx...' She whispered, unsure of whether or not she could talk to the new cat or not now that she had given them a lecture.

A gust of wind blew through the clearing, dislodging a lot more pine needles letting them sprinkle onto her cream pelt. She instinctively shook them from her pelt, which being in such a small space only made more fall from the bush. She hissed a little as one landed on her eye and she lifted her small paw to rub it away. She wasn't sure if the she-cat had answered her or not whilst she was faffing around, but she looked at her. Hopeful that they could go and get Luxx.

  • OOC: Congrats on becoming a BA Cherry!

Brightstar's orange ears pressed back agaist his head, and he let out a snarl of frustration at Trinity. He wanted to race past the she-cat and have his way, but she was twice his size and she could easily pin him down if she wished to. His young mind felt the urge to just block out everything she was saying to them. A part of him wanted to listen, and a part of him didn't want to. Yeah, he guessed what was being said to him make sense, but he really wanted to be able to do more than watch!

He growled a little, green eyes narrowed as he glared at Trinity. "What do you know? Three against one are excellent odds to me. It doesn't matter our size, for we are more than one." He mewed in a determined voice. Why did the she-cat have to be here at all? They could have raced up to Luxx, with no stupid cat to stop them.

Brightstar was pretty confident that with the combined fighting of Lola, himself, and Luxx or whoever else they fought with that they could chase the enemy away with ease. An easy target? Well, he didn't have any fighting skills yet, and seeing how Lola was younger than him and came from a twoleg's home, he had doubts about how well they could hold up if they were seperated during the fight. "Three fighters are better than one, right?" He asked, uncertaintity laced in his tone. He thought that reasoning was pretty good, but then there was that chance of them having to fight a full grown cat by themselves....

"Lola, do you think you could fight them?" He asked, worry in his gaze as he turned to look at her.

  • Trinity's gaze softened as she looked down at the small cream colored kit. "Look little one, I know you want to help your friend, Luxx you called him, well the best way to help him is to do as he said and wait here. He only wants to make sure you two are kept safe." She meowed, her blue-gray gaze settlling back on the tom-kit. "You don't know what it's like to fight yet, you don't know about the blood, the violence, the possibility of death. You will learn, that is inevitable, but you have to be patient. Yes three fighters are better than one, but you and her can't fight, you don't know how and you'd be in more danger than you could pose to the enemy." She said, her expression was only one of concern. She glanced through to where she could see the cats in the clearing. "Besides, your friend already has...four other cats to help him." She added. "And if you two will give me your word that you won't go marching out there and try to fight, well I'll go and help him too, that way they will have another experienced fighter on their side who knows what she's doing." She meowed, a bit of a glint in her eye. "But I'll only go and help if you two promise to stay hidden here and out of trouble." She added, her voice carrying a hint of her stubborness.

  • [[ooc- Thanks Eclipse ^_^]]

Lola looked at Brightstar as he meowed to her. She didn't answer straight away, she was just staring out at the battle, listening to what they were saying and watching what they were doing as if she herself was trying to learn it. But when she looked back to the tom beside her her blue eyes were uncertain. 'I don't know Brightstar....' She mewed, worry in her tone. She was worried that she wouldn't be able to fight like the big cats, and that Luxx would get hurt. If he did what would she do, what would both of them do?

Before she could say anything else the cat that was trying to make them stay here began to speak again. The cream kit knew that what she was saying was right, but she was still half way to believing that her and her friend could make a little difference too. 'We can come help you too...' She mewed, uncertain as to whether or not this cat would even listen to her. 'Then there would be three more of us to help. And you can teach us too!' She grew more confident as she went on. She seemed to believe her own words and that they would indeed be able to learn better by going out there and doing it rather than watching helplessly from a bush.

  • OOC: OKAY EVERYONE STOP. Before we go on, we need to get this all straightened out cus, I'm totally lost and flooded. Would someone like to tell me just how many cats we actually have attacking, hiding or involved? That'd be awesome, Cus I really liked this thread, until there was way too much going on...

IC: Cyrill looked confused at everyone

  • OOC: Brightstar and Lola-hiding in the bushes, but I'm not sure if they'll stay there or not.
Trinity-I think just trying to get Lola and Brightstar to stay put.
    Korova-?
    Stormshadow-involved.
    Luxx-helping
    Sorority-attacking
    Horseflight-involved
Icestorm-attacking, but hasn't posted in awhile, not sure on that.
I looked over the past posts, correct me if I'm wrong on anything or need to make additions.

Brightstar flicked his tail as he thought about how to respond to Lola.

  • OOC: Note- I've decided to change Horseflight's name to a non-clan name. I know that this will probably be confusing, but I didn't really have any reason for her to change it in-character, so I decided to just assume it was the name she's been using. So, I guess just refer to her as "Alucia", from now on.

An uncharacteristic giggle could be heard emanating from the sleek she-cat, and for a fleeting second the blue of her eyes shone translucent like the summer sky. "Just checking..." But her face quickly fell, and the now stark expression was supplemented with a frown. She thought that Cyrill had understood her, the thorniness, the confusingly ambivalent mannerisms. It appeared as if the tabby's patience was worn thin, like the layer of ice over the streams- the otherworldly moments of amusement had vanished, seemingly with the weather. And as awkward as those times had been, she found herself to already be missing them.

Mind refocusing back into the situation at hand, the pinto colored feline lashed her tail to mark the building frustrations within. Blasted rogues, they've wasted more than enough of my time... Wheeling on the duo of she-cats once more, the she-cat spat at them with her usual prickliness. "Well? Don't you have any guts in those flea ridden skins of yours, or are you just going to sap more of the day like the filthy ticks you are?"
