  • A smirk appeared on the refined features of the calico, and she shot the tom a knowing look. Flinching back in surprise as Cyrill swatted at her, the she-cat returned the favor by smacking him in the head. But her annoyance evaporated as her sky-colored eyes fixated on the scruffy tabby, and she gazed at him fondly for quite a few seconds. Promptly returning to her senses and turning her head away, he ears were pinned to her head in embarrassment.

"Right. I guess so..." There was an odd hint of disappointment in her voice, but then a familiar chuckle caused her pelt to frizz out, Korova! Turning to face him, she wondered frantically how long he had been standing there. Lovebirds?! Horseflight had a temper no longer than a single mouse tail, and she was bound to boil over before long. "What?! She fought the desire to unsheathe her claws, "Like I'd have any interest in this bumbling furball!"

  • Korova bit back another chuckle, simply shaking his head, his eyes flashing with amusement. "Oh, of course not. Who would ever think such a thing." He meowed, a smile on his face. It was obvious, but if they wanted to deny it, who was he to step in their way. "It's not like you two gaze at each other a bit too long, or enjoy each other's comapny a bit too much." He meowed again, he couldn't help it, he was in an actual good mood this morning.

  • Cyrill looked from Horseflight to Korova. Maybe he was right? Cyrill always had lingering eyes. His chin pointed downward as he did not deny the accusation.

  • OOC: Sorry for the very late reply. School's been eating me alive... 3x

Horseflight's sky blue eyes were looking more like sharpened icicles as she glared steadily at Korova. "Don't mock me... You'll live longer!", spat the she-cat, whipping around to give the tom the slip. No matter how much her snake-like tongue wanted to retaliate, she had made up her mind that she wasn't going to waste her time on arrogant cats such as the likes of him.

Just trying to stir up drama... Padding past Cyrill, her skin flushed under her fur. He looked troubled, but she wasn't exactly abounding with patience right now. "What the heck is your problem?!" Not receiving an immediate answer, she let out an exasperated hiss before storming off. "Oh, forget you mousebrains! I have far more important things to do than wander around with a lot of foolish toms!"

  • Cyrill opened his mouth, but the words were swallowed by the shadows, instead he just followed behind, he thought that following behind silently and almost non-existantly. It was better than watching her pad off out of sight...

"Wait up.." He said a little weakly, what was happening to him, how could his self confidence be swayed so easily by this ONE she-cat?!

  • Without bothering to turn around and face him, the calico quickly dismissed her friend. "Why? It's not like I told you to come!" Lashing her black-tipped tail irritably, the she-cat trotted away in a huff.

OOC: Short post is short... x3

  • Korova smiled and chuckled slightly. "I'm sure I can survive mocking you, I've survived much worse." He meowed, his smile fading abit as the memories stirred in the back of his mind. He pushed the images back before they could over take him again. He was happy for once, he wasn;t going to let his mind ruin it, not this time.

  • Cyrill scoffed, "Sure walk off MISS PRISS! Throwing your hissy fits around here, I WILL NOT WALK ON EGG SHELLS TO MAKE SURE HER HIGHNESS IS HAPPY!" He looked back at Korova who looked, in his opinion, frazzled. "What's wrong with you?" He asked walking past him to lounge under a bush.

OOC: Loud post is loud. Win.

  • OOC: Again, I apologize. 3x I'll make sure to reply more promptly next time, so we can move these guys along...

Icy blue gaze still as sharp as glass, a flare of sunlight caused her eyes to gleam like crystal. As her nerves began to come undone, the feline's mottled back tensed in an arch, black hairs spiked along her spine. She cast a jagged glare in Korova's direction, What makes you so sure?...

As Cyrill's taunts reached her ears, you could see the she-cat flinch a little, but she was so going to turn his points around in her favor. "Humph." Horseflight faced the tabby, undoubtedly about to make some kind of comment about his nervous breakdown the other day, until she noticed the tom simply padding away. At first bemused by his retaliation, the calico now felt like she was being choked.

"Well then, wish granted!" Turning her head to the side to hide the layer of mist building up in her eyes, the she-cat parted with one final remark. "You know, I've come to realize recently that I was a lot happier- when I was alone!" Tearing off through the undergrowth, she was consumed by the expanse of the forest by the time she rounded the first thorn bush.

  • Korova shook his head slightly, his gaze moving to Cyrill. "Nothing important." He meowed, though saying his thoughts of his mother and brother weren't important was the understatement of the century. His gaze followed Horseflight as she stalked off into the forest after her comeback at Cyrill. "Though you may end up having a lot to deal with. You made her mad, really mad. If you really like her, which it's obvious you do, then you should go after her and apologize." He meowed. He wasn't an expert on relationships or anything, but it just seemed like it was what Cyrill should do. "You may be the only cat she'll actually listen to, though it might take a bit for her to cool off." He added.

  • In spite of what she may have wanted her companions to believe, the fuming calico had not strayed far. Haste had worked against her, these woods were lightly tread upon, leaving plenty of chances for brambles and the like to thrive. Black foot drawn up and wrenched in pain, the normally lithe she-cat hopped gingerly over to the cover of the nearest bush. Flopping onto a rough layer of dead leaves and bracken, the pinto could properly inspect her paws. Protruding from a forepaw, was a pronged jagged thorn. Horseflight hissed curses into the vacant forest as blood oozed around her sore front leg.

Stretching her opposite limb out in an attempt to make herself comfortable, a wrinkled berry was smashed into the dirt with a squelching sound. Others clung to every other branch, but they were blackened and rotten. Foxdung... This was in fact, the same hedge the tabby and she-cat had took shelter in from the downpour all that time ago. And yet, she couldn't bring herself to move. I've been aimless for so long...

That was one of her faults, and the one she hated most, because of the weakness it exposed. Like a high strung filly, dashing about under the open blue skies was a way of life for her. Even so, some instinct was always nagging in the back of her mind, urging her to travel amongst a group. Despite her frustrations, the she-cat unceasingly craved companionship. He'd better hope he doesn't pick the wrong bush to hide in...

  • Cyrill sighed and agreed with Korova, it was true, he did like her, no going back now. He swallowed his pride and padded off into the direction she was in leaving the words, "You should probably stay behind for your own safety." to Korova as Cyrill trotted off into the un-trekked wood.

He watched out for thorn after thorn on the branches of the bushes. "Good lord, she really did pick the ideal place to sulk, didn't she?" He spoke to himself in annoyance. He tried to get a whiff of her scent, but couldn't find it in the air that was masked and damp with the smell of rotting leaves. Still cautious of his missing claw and the small sensitive area that refused to heal he traveled further. The large tabby blissfully unaware of what possible dangers that could lie in the forest.

  • OOC: Do you mind if I bring in a cat? One that would just scare some of them.

  • Sorority was hiding in the bushes, waiting for Icestorm and Shadowspike. The three of them had arranged earlier to come in here, cause as much damage as they could, and leave as quickly as they came. The small tortoiseshell she-cat didn't look too strong, but her looks were deceiving.

    ((Sorority-attacking group-very hard-open))

  • OOC:Stealth, could I join your attack group?

IC: Deathsoul noticed the other cats. Silently, quickly he padded over to them. "May I join you in your attack?" He waited for a reply.

  • "No. You should've arranged this earlier." Sorority hissed. She could smell Clan on this idiot. He was lucky to escape with a warning, she thought.

  • OOC: Uhmmm... Deathsoul is a loner ;D

IC: "Humph, well, leave me the tom. I could go for beating the kittypet."

  • ((Unless you state it explicitly in your first post for them-NOT going back and editing-then Sorority is going to smell Clan scent on any cat with a Clan name. He probably just wandered in their territory. ;D))

"Maybe if you're lucky." she hissed. "Now go. I've got two other cats fighting for me and we will kill you if you don't leave us alone."

  • OOC: I will attack the tom. On your count, we strike!

IC: "Humph, fine suit yourself but my friends wouldn't like that." He wandered a little distance off, waiting for the word.

OOC: I will have him injure the tom, his friends are another cat, a rottweiller and a hawk. He beat them and they wanted him to teach them.

  • ((You did purchase the dog and hawk at the store, right? And if you're going to be a part of this, Sorority will expect him to follow her orders. If those orders are 'kill yourself', he's expected to kill himself. And also, did you buy the ability for the dog and hawk to speak cat language, or the cat to speak dog and hawk language, at the store? And for that matter, I'm pretty sure they can't fight together anyway. It breaks some rule or other.))

    Sorority rolled her eyes.
