  • Seeing that the wolves were preoccupied, Mintpaw glanced around the clearing. Most of the cats seemed to be holding their own, now she just had to wait for her chance.
(Injuries: going-to-be-bruised shoulders/back, bitten left foreleg)

  • Starless stopped baring his teeth and looked at the fellow wolf with a confused look
"Wait one second, why don't we both kill it?"

  • '...fox-dung!' Mintpaw thought violently. She wildly looked for a way out before beginning to sprint toward a tree trunk. She was pretty sure wolves couldn't climb trees...

  • Starless nodded and turned towards the kit only to bark in surprise when he saw that the kit was rushing towards a tree
"Get back here runt!" Yelled Starless in pursuit

  • Instead of wasting time and breath on an answer, Mintpaw just ran harder. Even a few of the warriors had been hard-pressed to catch up with her, hopefully she could make it...safety was so close!

  • -and a wolf could easily outrun any cat (Besides Usanbolt).
Quickly Starless started to catch up
"If you stop now we wont kill you!"

  • Mentally, Mintpaw rolled her eyes. Why would she believe that? Distracted, she almost ran into the dark blur ahead of her, coming to an abrupt and ungraceful stop. "Nightstripe!" she panted delightedly. Her mentor would know what to do!

On his way back into the fight, Nightstripe was almost hit by a speeding kit- wait, it was Mintpaw! Seeing her injuries - thank goodness it was minor- he looked up to see the two wolves she was fleeing and snarled at them. Nobody hurt his apprentice!

(OOC: Lol, my cat came in and now I'm obliged to include his charrie)

The post was edited 1 time, last by Mintkit ().

  • But we were three times the size of the one cat! Only an idiot would kill himself like this! Thought Starless as he pounced towards the cat
    ((Night!))

  • Mintpaw leaped up and landed on Starless' back, hoping to be able to do some real damage now that she could attack.

Nightstripe helped her by distracting the wolf, dodging its pounce and deeply clawing the she-wolf's nose.

    (Night!)

  • Meadowstripes raced into battle against the wolves. She sensed her sister by her si- wait. Where was her sister. Looking back up the snowy hill she saw Smallstride hidden in some bushes. She bonded, quickly, back to her. "Come on, Smallstride! What's wrong?" she asked softly as she saw her sister trembling.

Smallstride watched her sister leap fearlessly into battle, wondering why she'd so little fear of the wolves. "I-I'm afraid of wolves..." she said weakly as she shook like a leaf.

  • Occ: Sorrowcaw :HARD: can be killed and accepts big injuries
Figstar :Ultra Hard: small injuries accepted no death!
Hardclaw :Easy: can be killed. ALL from Figclan.

IC: Figstar flicks tail and jumps into the clearing with his faithful teammates. "I heard the trouble commencing and I thought this would be fun!" Called out Figpaw and attacks at the nearest wolf with Sorrowclaw while Hardclaw attacks a small one.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][font=georgia]She had arrived late and it took a frantic scan of oddly hued, blue and yellow eyes to find the figure of her mother; Nissel. The white figure took off again, frantic steps drawing her skittering way across the battle field. Her heart rate was up; the noises and smells coming from the fight had been enough to draw her from her post of watching over the newest litter of kits or minding the medicine den. No, the medicine cat helper was out and about darting towards her mother.

'M-m-mum,' came Blissfulpaw's quick gasp as she skidded to a stop beside her equally as pale mother. The half deaf kit winced as the echoes seemed to get caught in her ears and stay on a single pitched drone causing her head to throb. 'M-mum, are you alright? Is everyone alright?'
