OOC: Okay Copper, I know this is over due and I'm sorry. :-[ I've just been busy so I never got around to it, hope your still up too the battle. :D Spectators welcome, but no matter what, don't interfere.

IC: There were no eyes quite as demonic as those that stared out at the jagged horizon now, flickering like harnessed hellfire and condensed into rolling infernos, as if ready to explode like a volcano and flood the world in hatred and pain. The pupils were but slits of smoke amidst the lively blaze, sharp and glittering as it focused on the hazy, cracked desert that surrounded BloodClan. They were the only clear thing upon the massive body of scars. The face that held them within two sockets was a crumpled mess of rotted flesh, expose cartilage, and upturned tissue, twisted around in a horrible fashion that should have meant death, but the creature who bore such mangled features was Death, and thus, the ending of life hardly effected him. Tattered ears mimicked war flags as they swivled around like radars, awaiting the slightest sount to vibrate the membrane and disturb the tender little hairs that rested within.

Beneath murky white, crimson smered paws sprouted a deadly set of razors, forged from the finest of obsidian steel and arched wickedly to better rip and tear through muscle and flesh. They clicked against the rock in rythm, scarring little white stripes across the rought surface. Today would make out to be quite an interesting waste of time. The Copper Dragon versus the Prince of Blood. Both had unique combat ability, although the prodigious, ebony Satan that sat upon the sand brushed boulder had many more centuries of experiance, claiming the true title of Arch Demon and Champion of Hell. And there was nothing boring about a fight between two famous demons.

A crowd was gathering, small, yet it would grow to be sure. This fight had long since been decided and now they awaited eagerly to see who would stand tall and bloody with the claim of victor. There murmerings could be heard by the beast as he slowly swung himself around to face the small, round arena that had been cleared by Futan just for the occasion, sweeped in sand and cleared of any rock that might give one of the opponents an unfair advantage. While Jetstream hardly saw the match as fair anyway, it had pleased the masses and that was pretty much all anycat could care about. If they thought the fight was fair, they wouldn't interfere, and if they did interfere, well, they too, would become part of the match. And Jetstream was eager for the kill of another fool that thought he could just jump right between a fight between titans. Jetstream was quite sure Coppermine would agree.

The Warlord's sharp gaze spotted him through the crowd, his vivid pelt burning like dragon fire, as if he had taken the sand of the desert and melted each individual grit to mold the red earth around his decent sized frame. With a grunt and a ripple of muscle throughout his entire body, the Third Tier and famous mate of Haemon launched himself from the rock, soaring through the air with only his shadow a tether to the Earth. His paws struck the hot, golden grains with heavy force, drawing up a plume of dust that surrounded his solid form, yet even the upturned cloud never managed to quell those terrible eyes that stared out at the devil's opponent. And Arch Demon against a High Dragon? It would be a fight of legend.

"Coppermine, I challenged you some time ago, and now finally, after quite a few weeks, we meet together in combat. Let's not hold back. Give BloodClan what they want, blood, for it is in their very name!" Jetstream threw back his ravaged head to emit the screech of a tormented lich, brought back from the dead to spread doom and death wherever it walked. "There is but one rule, leave your spirits on the side. This fight will be fought by us as mortals, and only skill and ferocity will determine the outcome." The Warlord informed, and with a flick of his white tipped tail, the ethereal frame of the glacier eyes Necromancersoul faded to his hellish realm to observe from his own realm. He would not interfere. This was Jetstream and Coppermine's fight, no one elses. Not undead nor living should be permitted to interject.

  • Tiresias, his ears practically attuned to the Warlord's yowl, padded over the hilly sand dunes until he spotted the giant, demonic figure of Jetstream, awaiting blood. At least it wouldn't be his *ss ripped to pieces this time. It would be interesting to see how the new deputy would fare against the Prince of BloodClan, as he so rightly called himself. Perhaps King was more accurate, now that Haemon had become leader. The blue tabby decided wisely not to speak. He still hated the patchwork monster, though he had reconciled with his own sister. That wasn't going to change any time soon.

    {and then Morphy comes in with her low muse xD}

  • OOC: :O must... watch...

    IC:
Xelouris ended his patrol of... absolute nothingness. For once, the group that he was in hadn't met a single loner, or lost wanderer as they trekked through. Of course, though, it could be understandable, as the hot winds and itchy grains of sand deterred any would-be traveller. Only the most desperate -- or lost, as he had been -- loners would dare pass through the desert, into the open claws of Bloodclan. Of course, he wasn't the one to kill, yet. But little did he know that Bloodclan always demanded its namesake.

The marbled tabby frowned, seeing a crowd gather just ahead. What was going on, he wondered. He shouldered his way through to the front of the crowd to see Jetstream. That tom still sent shivers up Xelouris' spine, and would until the bloodcall of Bloodclan claimed him. He turned to see where Jetstream was looking at, and saw Coppermine. He smiled, seeing his friend. But, quickly, the smile dropped, as he realized what was going to happen. Xelouris wouldn't be able to stop it either, as he would die at the vicious claws of Jetstream, and lose the friendship of Coppermine in the process. So instead, he sat down and bit his lip, waiting and watching.

  • Carcasspaw heard the voice of the terrifyingly brilliant Jetstream, Warlord and Third Tier, and a cat worthy of Carcasspaw's respect a hundred times over. What a cat, a cat who's name made you shiver, look all around you, and strive onwards, making you always work harder, you child hood dream just being able to announce you got close to the black and white cats level.

A fight, a fight between deputy and Warlord, and interesting one it would be. Otherwise it would have not poked the brown tabby's interest, provoking Carnivalcorpse's apprentice, or at least one of his apprentices to come over and watch the fight. A hellish atmosphere warned the young tom not to intrude on the fight, the fight in which Carcasspaw did not know the motive. All he knew was that it sounded interesting, and was well worth watching. Carcasspaw was proud and delighted just to be apart of the slowly growing audience.

"Place yer bets, place yer bets." Carcasspaw laughed sliently. Maybe he ought to do that.

  • "I suppose I could shed some time for this."

The booming somewhat command of the new deputy seemed to slice down the air, BloodClan's own Coppermine thrusting his way to the scene with an amused smirk plastered on his mangled expression, ivory daggers instantly sliding into the earthly sand below as he approached his opponent, one who he showed no fear about what so ever. When two massive titans thought to rebel, no frightened sissy feelings were displayed, no backing out. This would definately be an equal fight. A match met for both.

"I suppose I could shed some time for this." Did he really just say that? He was only just made deputy, what the hell else did he have to do but prove to his clan mates that he was even worthy of the position? While Coppermine would have been Jetstream's own choice, some of the things the copper tom said hinted greatly at his naive personality. Jetstream growled quietly, more to himself then Coppermine, and groped the sand with his powerful paws. "Might as well get started then, wouldn't want to waste your nap time." The famous Warlord grunted in response, not displaying spite nor amusement. His face was a stoic mass of gross, and revelaed not the slightest emotion as the monstrous obsidian hellcat moved into a more comfortable position, crouching down to prepare to simple attack on his opponent.

Momentarilly tensing, Jetstream lunged at the deputy with a sudden, vicious snarl, his incisors flashing as he slammed into the ground at his side, thrusting out a powerful shoulder in an attempt to connect it with Coppermine's own and send him staggering off balance. But for all his mass, the savage tom was unsually quick. He twisted over his opponent's back with the test of his momentum and whirled, reeling up with hooked claws outstretched to bring the deadly weapons down with the intention of dragging them down the length of the deputy's side while his hindpaws thrusted him forward and set him into a second twist that would only caused the claws to carve even deeper if they had sank into skin. His teeth snapped for Coppermine's scruff in a relativly simple starting attack. For now, he wouldn't spent to much energy on extravigent combat. There was no need, Jetstream was confident with the current situation as it was.

    [/fancypost]

  • Chuckling as he sensed Jetstream stream forward, he automatically leaped to the side, over Jetstream in attemp to drag his flashing long razors across the infamous Warlord's spine. Getting hit by Jetsteam's shoulder when he met the tom in mid air, the deputy began to fall downward in which seemed to be as he would crash upon Jetstream. Instead, Coppermine twisted his muscular body in where he landed to the side, darting around the equal sized feline as he long ivory claws struck out randomly towards his opponents tender flesh, carefully jumping backwards to avoid being snagged by jaws.

  • What was this? A fight between demons? A fire fight between titans? None the less, the citizens of Bloodclan were to expirience the wrath of titans. The proud giants roared with rage, their bellows echoing across the barren landscape, sound waves creating ripples in the mirco-sized grains of sand. Although the battle had just begun, one could see their power dancing across their battle-scarred pelts, an aurora of savage beauty. This was what the cats of Bloodclan needed, the war between giants. Warlord versus the Flaming Dragon.

Much too small to participate in such games, the rotten creature known as Rottedkit stalked across the burning sands, always shifting in the desolate breezes that swept across her home. The sun was hot, a star in the sky, one that hated this place so much that it blessed these hellish cats with heat. It poured a schorching power over the dry skeletons of bushes and trees, that had once prospered until the waves of heat caressed their leaves, only to suck their beauty away and leave them with the harsh grace of survivors. Rottedkit was called to this cruel battleground like mice to cheese. Ironic right? Well the diluted she-kit stopped on a heated boulder, lowering her short-furred rump on its mineral intwined mass. She was here to watch the creatures do their monster dance.

Sparkling green orbs, the color of rotting squash swept across the field of dust. Jetstream had expirience on his side, along with his uncanny ability to crush his opponents. Poor Tiresias... But then there was his flaming partner in war, Coppermine. The newly appointed deputy has had many days to study the Warlord's style. Also, the horrible kit was secretly rooting for the Flame of Bloodclan, as he had been a long time idol for the young monster in training. It would be a short amount of time before Rottedkit would be made an apprentice, and she was determined to have him as her mentor. If not, she would learn as much as she could just by sight.

  • It’s on the tip of my tongue,
You know you’re way too young
To have someone lie to you.

[fancypost borderwidth=0pt]F*ck, the battle started. The calico apprentice bounded over to the crowd. Watching them with interest, he sat down and watched. Secretly, he beilieved the Warlord would win, but then again, Coppermine had been premoted to the Deputy positon. Frankly, he had thought that his father should've been promoted, but that was his pregedousness speaking.[/fancypost]

It was the second I lit
    Your first cigarette,
I forget who you used to be.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px]The ebony she-apprentice trotted up to the group, a small smile spreading across her maw as her neon green gaze scanned the battle. The large, burly maine coon sat down a miniscule distance away from Pointpaw - who was really her step-brother - thumping her tail against the ground eagerly to see some bloodshed. The pregnant gal flicked an ear, watching the deputy and warlord fight with some mild interest. She would only focus if there was some real action going on, that was for sure. The daughter of Carnivalcorpse and Phantomcorpse looked around for her brother and mate, Neopaw, wondering where the hell he wandered off to.

  •
What the f*cking hell was going on. Hackles raised and teeth bared, Odette lept over to Coppermine's side. How dare Jetstream attack the deputy? What was he on? Growling, the tom attempted to jump onto Jetstream's back.

  • "WHAT THE FU** IS GOING ON!?"

Haemon Mist padded into the area, seeing both her deputy and her Warlord battling in a dangerous fashion. The leader enjoyed watching a good spar or two but this was seriously getting out of hand. Jetstream seemed to be challenging every cat he could find when he should be focusing on creating new battle plans and techniques for the clan to learn. Also Coppermine had better things to do then spar, he was still new at being a deputy and her and Dustmist still had much to teach the young spirited tom.

Her icy gaze narrowed and ignited with a fury filled flame. "Stop this spar at once! Both of you report to my den immediately!" the leader ordered with a sharp hiss, not caring if she sounded like a complaining bit**

  • Neopaw at the sound of Haemons yowl ran up and instaltly stood next to his mate a little infront of her incase the brawl would come near so that he could slit the throat of any nearby who would dare harm her.

    -

Carnivalcorpse had been walking his his aunt as they uncovered the scene. "This is just what we need." He mewed with a sigh. "If needed I could break up the fight."

    -

Sinuous was snickering in the shadows, "What a sssshame, they could at leasssst waited until sssomeone losssst a limb."

  •
Batpaw cowed guilty as Haemon's screech ripped through the hot air. Her ears angled backwards and she crouched down. A longing glance was shot at where the two powerful toms had sparred just moments prior, wishing she could have studied their moves longer.

A stab of worry shot through her pelt; would she get in trouble for observing?

  •
Odette snorted at Jetstream. Idiot. Padding over to Haemon, he sat down, wondering what the hell had been going on in Jet's mind when he decided to attack his deputy.

  • Just in time as Coppermine landed, he noticed Odette seem to be next to him. Powerful muscular paws drummed against the ground as he was to make another move in front of the feline, hopefully to get the clanner from getting mistakingly hurt when the voice of Haemon screamed against his ears, pulsing through the Deputy's body enough to make the furocious creature stop in mid paw lift, claws sadly slamming down to the ground as Coppermine positioned his head around to look at the leader.

"I'm sorry, Haemon Mist." A gruff voice escaped his jaws, the tensity that was built inside his body relaxing as he quietly pinned his tattered ears against the thick skull that protected his head, a meaning of respect.

  • Phantomcorpse blinked, kind of confused as to why this was going on in the first place. Padding up to Carnivalcorpse, she nodded in agreement to his first comment, flicking her tail to him in greeting,

  • "That's the question we're all asking," Oncomingdisaster grumbled, watching the battle nonetheless. A small grin lit up her face as Haemon called the two fighters to her den. She watched Jetstream; he was bound to have a good reaction for everyone to see. Well, either he'd overreact or stay freakishly emotionless. Nothing less would do for the "Prince of Hell!"

"I have to agree with you, Sinuous," she mewed, flicking her tail in response to the snake's words.

  • The serval smiled and padded over towards Oncoming, "THo I can ssseee the point in preventing pointlesssss fighting nearing winter, mending woundssss are not good if we get attacked." He mewed with a grin looking around to see if Sorcerer or Slyvtherin was around.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px]Nocturnalpaw slightly giggled at her brother's protective side, her ecstatic neon gaze widening with a slight suprise as she saw Haemon Mist. Dipping her head to her aunt, she shyly shuffled her paws, wondering if she could possibly get into trouble by spectating what would have been one of the most heated battles in the history of Bloodclan. Really, Jetstream against Coppermine? Mentally shrugging it off, she flicked her tail as she looked to her mother and then her father, completely agreeing with Carnivalcorpse's statement.
