  • Amia made her way down the stone path towards Ranchwood Stables, where she and her younger sister, Ava, kept their horses. she sighed as she thought about her own horse, Aurora. Aurora was a stunning bay mare, and at 15.3 HH she was almost taller then Amia herself. The two sister walked towards the stables and pulled open one of the side doors.

  • "Hi guys," Emily said, opening the gate for them as Murphy stood beside her.
"How've you been?" she asked, holding onto Murphys bridle so he wouldn't walk out the gate.

  • Wyatt walked along the barn path he smiled as he saw Manners he happily placed his hand on their noses before looking over to Kayla who was taking out Manners

  • Kelsey was out in the pasture with Pepper, her horse nudged her shoulder and gave her and pleading look. "Fine alright..." Kelsey gave up and jumped onto Pepper's back, riding bareback was one of Kelsey's favorite things. They started a steady gallop towards the fence and stopped over by Wyatt,Kayla, and Manners "Hey." she said smiling and got off Pepper.

Liberty was coming up behind Kelsey, she neighed and Kelsey reached back to stroke her small black star.

    Accepted....

  • Ghost, a stallion who was being broken in, stood in a secluded part of the pasture. He was an albino horse with a long mane and tail that the ranch had got from a rescue. He had been an abused horse so only very calm, experienced riders could go near him because He was very reckless and scared of humans.

  • "Imma go check on Ghost.."Kelsey said and patted Pepper and Liberty before leaping over the fence and heading to Ghost's pasture. She was the only one allowed to go near him due to his fear of humans."Hey boy..." she whispered calmly and opened the gate slowly coming inside the pen and reacing out her hand, a red apple in the palm.

  • He stepped back a bit, ears pricked forward. He snorted, eyes darting from the apple to Kelsey. He quickly snatched it from her hand and ate it. Apple juice dripped from his mouth. He swatted bugs away with his tail.

  • Ava and Amia watched the others before retrieving their own horses from the stables.Aurora and Landy were stabled side by side. The girls didn't usually board their horses here. Their mother owned a stud not too far North from the stables, but many of the mares had foaled this year and had to be brought from the paddock and stabled, leaving the girls two horses no stable. The 4, both horses and riders, were new to the barn and hadn't yet got to meet everyone, but mostly they just tried to stay out of the way.

  • He backed farther in, the slivers of wood snapping behind him. He stomped his hoof against the ground, snorting and shrieking. His eyes were wild, the pink outline around his eyes thickened.

  • Frustrated Kelsey pulled herself from the pasture, slamming and locking the gate behind her her knuckles white with the effort of keeping calm as possible.

Pepper noticed her tensed emotions and snorted and neighed loudly to ward off Ghost from hurting Kelsey or Wyatt.

  • His nostrils flared. He had backed up so much, the fence was on the verge of snapping in two. A crow landed right on the last sliver and it snapped. The crow cawed and flew away, spoiling Ghost and making him head for the nearest exit. The hole. Quick as a flash, dodging small trees and jumping over rocks. His sides heaving. He passed the barn and up around the ranch house.

  • Ava lifted her head, face pale. "Crap!" She hissed, seeing the bolting Ghost. She flipped the leadrope over her horses neck and rested her two arms on his crest, and Landy lowered his head before lifting it quickly, throwing Ava up and onto his broad back, an old bushies trick they had learned in Australia. She looked around to see who else would help her.
