  • A war against humans and vampires had been raging on for centuries, but now finally a truce has been summoned. Somehow, both sides had agreed to have a marriage of the two Leader's oldest child. If the marriage went through, the war would be over, with a possibility of peace for everyone. The vampires chose their son, a prince, to marry the daughter of Jacob Haze, leader of the humans. Jacob offered his only daughter, Calyx Haze. ( The Prince must be cold and cruel, and not easily fall in love with Calyx. Must be semi-adv. c; )

  • Though her father had reccomended a dress, Calyx wore a plain pair of jeans and a t-shirt to her funeral. They were on the way to drop her off into the care of the vampire kingdom, where she would meet her future husband. The bloodsucker. She was as good as dead. The car slowly fell to a stop, a giant castle looming over her. She shivered, stepping out of the vehicle. She had never seen this prince, so she expected someone ugly. An ugly vampire. At the entrance stood a few important looking bloodsuckers... And her fiance.

  • Ciar stood bored at the entrance of the castle, and though he didn't show it, he was curious as to who his fiancee was. He knew it was a human and he sneered at the prospect of that idea. Him and a human, how stupid was that? She would surely die of natural causes before she allowed him to change her. If she decided to become a vampire. He wore all black clothing and stood beside two guards. He waited patiently and smiled to himself when he saw the vehicle pull up. Let's hope this human is pretty, he thought to himself.

  • Calyx hugged her sides as she was ecorted up the steps, a habit she had developed some time ago. Seeing as her father wasn't aloud to leave the car, all she could do was wave as the car pulled away. With a sigh, she turned back to the smiling bloodsuckers, nibbling one of the snakebites in her lip. A long time ago, Calyx had found a bottle of green dye.... Since then, her hair was always some unnatural color. This month's getup was sky blue hair with soft pink tips, cotton candy. She glanced to a younger guy dressed in black, the hairs on her neck going up.

  • Ciar took her appearance in immediately. At least she's different he thought as his eyes raked over her submissive form. He realized that as he watched her walk up the steps that he would have to train her to walk in confidence. He sighed, and then decided to go down the steps to meet her halfway. "Hello," he said in a quiet, silkly voice.

  • Calyx forced her green gaze up from the ground, taking in his appearance. She swallowed hard, hesitating for a moment. "Hi," She murmured, cocking her head to the side. Not dead yet = Bonus. Though she began to feel sick. She fingered the pills in her pocket nervously, nibbling the stud in her lip.

  • He noticed how nervous she looked and he forced himself not to roll his eyes. "Come on," he said, making his voice kind. "I won't hurt you." He held out a hand for her to take.

  • Calyx took one glance to his hand, hesitating for a moment. "Er, I got it.." She assured him, frowning slightly. She had never been one for touching people, even if it was something as small as holding hands. She walked up the steps, a fat vampire hustling her to hurry up.

  • Ciar's blue eyes narrowed when she didn't take his hand. He clenched his jaw, fighting anger as he followed her up the steps. He snapped his teeth and growled at the vampire who kept talking her to hurry. It was a clear sign: Leave her be, or have your throat ripped out. He walked close beside her, his face an unreadable mask, but every once and a while his eyes flashed with blue fire.

  • Calyx bit her lip, forcing herself not to look back at him. Her skin tingled with unease, heart thudding in her chest. Great, she had made him angry. It wasn't her intentions, she just didn't want to touch him just yet. She let out a shaky sigh, watching as the fat bloodsucker stiffened, dissapearing into the castle. Soon enough, they had arrived at the prince's chambers. The place was huge. She swallowed hard, eyes wide. She felt so tiny...

  • "Is something wrong?" He asked, hearing her heart speed up. He sighed inwardly. His new wife would have to learn how to control her heartbeat and fear-scent. He didn't want any vampires to to her as weak. And if they thought he was weak, they'd surely kill her. Without mercy.

  • "Nothing... I just feel a bit intimidated, is all..." ...And a bit freaked, alone, hurt, betrayed...Calyx assured him, gesturing to the large room for emphasis. "I'm sorry I angered you earlier. I'm not very... touchy," She said, letting out a sigh. She turned to face him, hands stuffed into her jacket. "Is this all... You're room?.."

  • He nodded then said bluntly, "Don't be intimidated. Nothing is going to bite you." He paused a moment and then looked back at her. He slowly assessed her, raking his eyes over her. "Not yet, anyways," he amended, tearing his eyes away as he felt hunger kick in.

  • Suddenly all her unease returned, the cotton-candy haired girl now staring hard the floor. "Nice, totally helps..." Calyx deadpanned, voice quiet. "W-Where do I sleep? Do I have a room of my own?" She asked after a moment, unable to keep away the stutter.

  • He smirked. "You'll be staying in my room," he said, sensing her unease rolling off of her in waves. "Why do you think I brought you here in the first place, girl?" He asked with a snort.
