"Oh no." She whispered, terrified, "I hate storms." She could sense it too, "And this time I have no-one to protect me."

"I hate them too.. I'm afraid of," he whispered, "Thunder. Need to find somewhere to shelter, and fast."
-
SilverCrest nodded, "Follow me." She whispered, darting north
-
He took off after her, hoping they'd arrive in time.
-
The storm began, churning its way across the sky. She ran until a small cave came into view, safety. It was far from any packs, in every direction. It was her safe haven, and had saved her life more than once. Silver scrambled in, "Hurry!"
-
He hurried inside, huddling against the far wall as a lightning bolt streaked across the darkened sky, followed by a loud 'blam!' of thunder. At least they were safe.
-
She whimpered, "I hope it'll pass soon."
-
"Me too." He glanced over to Silver, feeling comforted by her presence. "But at least we're together."
-
Silver smiled, "Its a bonus." She whispered, cowering from the thunder.
-
Dew nodded, feeling very grateful that he was not alone. Even only knowing her for a day, she brought something into his life which he had not previously had. He felt warm and happy inside..
-
Silver looked at him, curling up in the corner, "What you thinking?"
-
"I'm just happy.." he said softly.
-
"Happy?" Silver plastered a puzzled look onto her otherwise stunning features, "Why would you be happy? There's a raging storm and we're hiding freezing cold!" She lifted her head from her paws to look at him
-
"yea, well," he stuttered, feeling warmth rush to his face," I'm happy I'm not alone, you kinda made me forget about those other things..." he looked away, half wishing he had not said that
-
"Sorry." She whispered, nudging him with her nose
-
He looked back up, "sorry? For what?" he asked, confused at her response.
-
"I made you upset." Silver whispered, "When you were happy before." She had her ears bent back as she spoke
-
"No, you made me happy. I was just, erhm," he coughed," embarrassed to say that. No you make me very happy. I didn't ever think anyone would wanna be my friend, then you came. Seems like fate"
-
SilverCrest smiled at him, "I know how you feel." She murmured
-
He looked up, eyes shining," you do?"
