Spottedshadow heard the call and sat up. Her kits were still asleep, but only barely. She nudged each of them.
Splatterkit curled into a tighter ball, on the borderline between awake and asleep.
Blizzardkit blinked open his eyes and yawned quietly. He slowly sat up. "Wha...?"
Ravenfang woke up from her dream and sighed. She stood up and shook herself.
Best and worst dream ever, she thought as she licked a paw and drew it over her face. Ravenfang stood up and padded out into camp.

IC: Smokewing purred and licked his cheek. "After the meeting I have something important to tell you..." She said softly and smiled.

hawkkit was asleep and rolled near splatterkit and rolled on top of her asleep! and he un shealed his little claws and fell off her and looked like he was fighting something like a warrior maybe?
Hornpaw looked at his leader after his musing alone, he bounded over to his usual spot and waited for his brother. He glanced at his mentor.
Patchpaw stretched and bounded over to his brother, he sat down and licked his paw, waiting for Sparstar to speak.
Splatterkit grunted and opened her eyes reluctanly. She looked over to Hawkkit and yawned. The she-kit sat up and poked him with her small paw. "Hawkkit." She whispered.
Blizzardkit looked at his sister and Hawkkit with disgust.
Spottedshadow whacked his ears with her tail. "Come, we are going to the gathering." She said, "I want to hear what Sparkstar has to say."
Sparkstar
"Due to the previous attack by a lone badger, I have though long and hard about how we should learn from this. From now on, A selected apprentice will be assigned a post on the riverbank to avoid any...mischievious kit from crossing the river to explore the forest. The safety of our clan must be enforced. Twitchtail, as head warrior, it is your responsibility to assign an apprentice for this duty." she meowed as she turned to him and dipped her head. "As for that badger,..Ravenfang, you lead a patrol to track it down off our territory. Take....Flameheart, hornpaw, and patchpaw with you." she ordered
Flameheart
Flameheart purred as he nuzzled Smokewing and nodded. The usual grumpy warrior always felt better when she was around. Now in a better mood, he nodded to Sparkstar and glanced at Ravenfang before standing up to stretch. "Now was it you want to tell me?" he murmured shifting his blazing orange gaze on Sokewing.
Smokecloud
The black tom sighed as Sparkstar finished. He noticed that the flame-colored she-cat didn't mention anything about her losing a life. He also noticed she didn't point out Hawkkit. With a flick of his tail he glanced at the kit who was with his mother Littlesong and Spottedshadow. "I guess he didn't need to be blamed anyway." he murmured with satisfaction as he guess the kit been through enough

IC: Twitchtail nodded. "As you wish." he stood and padded over to Spottedshadow, Flickerkit bounding at his heels. "Be careful. I don't want that badger finding you. Or the kits." He licked her ear. "I'd better go and assign an apprentice to River Duty. I'll see you later."
Flickerkit waved his tail. "Bye dad!" He turned to Blizzardkit and Splatterkit. "Come on! Lets explore camp. Hawkkit you coming?"
Littlesong was now licking her son's nasty badger wound. "I'm sorry but i think he had to see the medicine cat. Maybe later." She swept Hawkkit to her side with her long flame pointed tail gently before padding out of the den.

IC: Smokewing's ears flushed and she could feel her pelt going hotter. Should she tell him or wait a little longer? No just get it over and done with! "Flameheart..." She started, her voice soft and as melodic as a flute. "I am with kits..." She looked up at him, hopeful for a good reaction.

Spottedshadow smiled widely at Twitchtail. "We'll be careful." the calico she-cat promised. "See you later."
Splatterkit looked at Hawkkit expectantly.
Blizzardkit yawned and shook out his snowy fur. "Sure, I would love to explore some." He purred. A thoughtful look overcame his eyes for a second, "Just as long as we don't do anything bad..."
Spottedshadow swept her tail over Blzzardkit's ears. He was definately more mature than most kits his age. Most would be like Splatterkit, and get into something they shouldn't, everytime they get the chance.
Flickerkit nodded. "Lets go then!" he scampered off, tail twitching with excitement, rather like his father. (They are so alike ;-;)
Twitchtail called over Hornpaw. "Can you take first river-duty?" He nodded to his mentor. "If that's okay."
Flameheart
The huge warrior stared at his mate with wide blazing orange eyes as he sat back down. "Kits?....Kits......I am going to be a father." he murmured in awe. The huge scared warrior jumped up with excitement as lifted his head high. "I am going to be a father!!" her yowled
Splatterkit grinned happily. "Okay!" She called, trotting after Flickerkit. Her yellow-green eyes glittering with excitement, and mischeif.(lol)
Blizzardkit hissed quietly to himself. "Wait a second! Don't leave without me!" He looked to his mother, "Don't worry, mom, I'll keep them out of trouble."
Spottedshadow laughed quietly to herself as she watched Blizzardkit as he ran to catch up with the other kits. She shook her head slowly and walked back to the nursery and laid down in front of it.
Bump
hawkkit woke up "wha...?warrior! get away!" he un shealed his claws struggling trying to fight but he was too tired to even get up so he closed his eyes
Flameheart
The huge jet-black tom nuzzled Smokewing "I am going to be a father.." he repeated half shocked
Smokecloud
Smokecloud overheard the grumpy warrior's outburst and smirked as he padded over. "Well, well, well, Looks like Littlesong and Spotted shadow has one more denmate. Smokewing, come by the medicine den when you have a chance. I want to check you over to see if you should move to the nursery now or not and make sure you are healthy enough to have kits." he purred as he shifted his pale green gaze over to the main cave.
Sparkstar
The leader purred as she heard Flameheart across the clearing. As she padded towards the main cave she sighed in relief. She might have losted a life, bu ther clan was growing fast and strong.

Hornpaw nodded to Twitchtail, "I will get to the duty once I finish my potral with Ravenfang, Flameheart and my brother." He mewed, flicking his tail.
Patchpaw stood up and stretched his limbs, he bounded over to Ravenfang and waited for his brother and the 'scary' tom Flameheart who was going to be a father to come join them in the potral.
