Don't you dare. Shadow's voice spoke in Mal's mind. Don't what? Shadow puffed a ring of smoke. I saw you tense. You were going to attack the Forsworn. Mal stared at the ground angrily. I was not. The next time Shadow spoke his voice was full of sympathy. Listen, we all want to help her. Mal, you know me. I want nothing more then to charge in and save her. And think about Kyra, Ara is her rider. Did you stop to think how she must feel? Mal hadn't. He had been to concerned in his own affairs to wonder how Kyra was feeling. He watched Ara stagger off in front of the Forsworn, his enemy. He saw her look back once. Taking a deep breath, he reached out to Kyra. Kyra? Are you hurt? Did he try anything else on you beside the chains?

OOC: For the recap... Helluin was taken to the king again so they can get secrets from him, Ara fought with Aguandar and I think lost, Mal may be taking care of Kyra while Ara is with the forsworn... did I get it all?
-
OOC: Okay, I've never been good with recaps, but here it goes. Helluin is back with the king with Echo going through his thoughts. Ara ended up surrendering herself to save Kyra, Shadow, and Mal. And...uh...that's what I got. Feel free to correct me if I missed something. Yes, I think you got it all.
IC: Kyra turned her gaze on Mal. I am not physically hurt. All he used were the chains. But Ara, she was injured.
-
OOC: Looks good to me for both the recaps.
IC: Mal nodded. I know, but we will save her. Even if I have to fight the king myself. A growl came from Shadow as he joined their conversation. Be careful what you wish for. But for now, we should leave. Ara will be okay until we rescue her. She's strong and smart and her will is unbreakable as far as I'm concerned. Mal sighed. Shadow, I was thinking.....
-
Barahir glanced toward Mal and Shadow, puffing smoke from his nose. You probably will have to fight the king. My rider, he... may be with him right now.
-
Mal and Shadow simultaniously looked at Barahir. Your rider is with the king? Is he the one Ara came to rescue? And Ara, do you know what will happen to her? I can guess but..... Mal frowned as he trailed off. Shadow snorted.
-
Yes, my rider is probably the one she came to rescue. Barahir replied. He already stood before the king before we came, I fear they may drive him insane. And the girl, I have no clue. The golden dragon turned his head to inspect the wound on his shoulder.
-
Mal stared angrily at the ground as he tensed. Look, I'm sorry about your rider, but if Ara came to save him, we'll try to rescue him too. Mal looked at the golden dragon. Would you like me to heal you? Ara was always better with magic but... He winced as he thought about her. He then attempted an weak smile at the dragon. Shadow looked at Barahir. May I ask what you and your rider are called?
-
Barahir. My rider is Helluin. The dragon answered then shook his head at Mal. There is no challenge without pain.
-
Mal turned around to give Shadow and Kyra his signature crooked grin. The one that made you think he was up to something. He pointed his thumb over his shoulder at the golden drgaon. I like him. Shadow snorted in amusement.
-
Barahir, Kyra spoke softly. What are your intentions?
-
Soldiers will be coming soon, there's a high chance of that. Barahir said and breathed a small line of fire in front of him. I'll bash them up if I have to to get to my rider. Nothing shall stand in my way to Helluin. We make our way to the cells first.
-
Mal nodded. I was hoping you would say that. He looked at the black and white dragon. Shadow, take Kyra to our clearing. I'll go with Barahir. We'll find Helluin and Ara. But you two need to go. So your safe. He flashed a grin. Ara would kill me if something happened to you Kyra, and I need you to take care of her Shadow. Shadow blasted fire in outrage. Mal, you cant be serious. Let us help you. Mal shook his head and unsheathed Baltheron and held it next to Valerah. He showed the blades to Barahir. They're twins you know. We forged them together, Ara and I. He placed Valerah and Baltheron together on Kyra's satlle and then grabbed a regular blade off of Shadow's, sliding it into his sheath. I'll see you two when I see you. He turned to Barahir. Your the leader.
-
ooc: I'll jump in when I see a good opportunity.
-
Kyra pressed her nose against Shadow's wing. He is right. He has to do this. You and I will go to this clearing and we will see both of them soon. She looked at Mal with her blue eyes. Bring her back, and both of you be safe. She looked pointedly at Barahir.
-
Only to some extent, a true leader knows the path. Barahir snorted and shifted his wings. And though I'm a dragon, I'm not always the smarter creature. He turned and began walking towards the cell his rider was held in.
-
Shadow lowered his head so he was eye level with Mal. If you dont come back, I'll char you. Mal grinned and watched both Shadow and Kyra take there leave before turning to follow Barahir. So, any particular plan here?
-
No. Just to free them. Barahir admitted, then saw the open cell door and went over quickly, growling lowly.
-
Mal unsheathed the regular blade and frowned. He missed Baltheron. He followed Barahir and inspected the cell door. He let out a short bark of laughter. My kind of plan.
-
Barahir stuck his head inside the door, though it barely fit. He pulled it back out and shook his head, releasing a stream of fire. They took him! He's gone.
