  • Ara staggered to her feet and limped over to her dragon. She stroked her for awhile, no words needing to be said. She turned around to find Mal pulling her into his arms. "Ara, don't do this. Stay. I can keep you safe." She shook her head and sobbed harder. "I can't. I'm the leader, and leaders make sacrifices, Take care of Kyra." Mal hugged her tighter.

  • "How pointless," He cut in. "Now, we must go see the king," He said.

  • Trembling, Ara pulled away from Mal. He caught her hand. "I will find you no matter what, I promise." Ara pulled her hand away and slowly approached the Forsworn.

  • Mal resheathed Baltheron and stepped forward to pick up Valerah. The white blade shimmered as he held it in his hand. He stepped back to stand beside Shadow and Kyra. He stared hatefully at the Forsworn and longingly at Ara. His grip on Valerah's hilt tightened. It was Ara's sword, and he would keep it safe until he rescued her. Because he would save her. He had promised, and he never broke a promise. Still, he looked at her and took in every detail. How her golden blonde hair cascaded around her shoulders. Her soft skin. But most of all he looked at her eyes. Her brilliant, beautiful, emerald green eyes.

    ((Good night to you all!))

  • "Keep moving," Galvorn shoved Helluin when he slowed his pace.

I don't have the strength to keep the most private things away this time. The rider said. So unless you do something... He trailed off and stumbled forward.

  • Galvorn dragged him into to room and forced the rider to his knees.

Helluin glared up at them, his gaze soon drifted to the approaching king. "I have nothing more..." He muttered.

"We both know that is not true, rider." The king said then glanced at Echo. "Search his mind, be as tortureful as you wish."

  • Listen, you just have to do your best. There isn't much else I can do in my current situation. But hey, maybe I'll see you in there.... Ara said into Helliun's mind.

  • "Now, lets go," He prodded Ara in the back with his spear. He undid the chain spells that he used like he promised.

  • ooc: Stop overflowing me! I have a life!!! Recap?

Ic: The egg squeled and squeled louder and louder in cynders bag.

Crystal was curled up glaring at the magical door. She waited.

  • Ara winced slightly but started forward. She did not like him prodding her. Her side burned as she walked which made her wonder if she had really only bruised her ribs afterall. She looked over her shoulder one last time looking at the two dragons and Mal.Kyra's voice echoed in her mind. Ara, I am free. Let's go. We can escape. Ara felt more tears threaten at the back of her eyes. No, Kyra. Wo won't make it. They'll catch us. Trust me, it's better if I go and you three remain safe. Stay with Mal, he'll watch over you. And I will miss you. She dropped her gaze to the floor and clutched her side.

  • Echo glared down at Helluin. She got off Gargoal and strode toward Helluin, a grin on her face. She was small for a 15 year old, but as deadly as a poisonous dragon, she put her cold hand on his shoulder and her ice waved through his body. She flicked her head to look at her dragon and she winked. Gargoal sent images and clips of Echo slaughtering dragons, humans, elves, and other helpless creature. Blood was spattered in each image. Then they stopped. "So," she said, what are ya hiding?"

  • Helluin grimaced at the blood spattered images when they were sent. After they were over he looked up at Echo. "No matter what you do, I'll never give you the most private secrets," He said. "You'll have to take them from my mind by force before I give them willingly."
