"Come on. Let's get somewhere safe." Lunar said, pushing herself onto her feet.
Artemis and Apollo followed her. Apollo kept watching out for others -
Mal felt his heart soar as he heard her voice. Shadow rumbled beneath him, obviously curious about his sudden pleasure. Ara, are you and Kyra okay? Your not hurt are you? And where are you, Shadow and I are on the way. As he waited for a reply he began to speak wtih Shadow. I touched her mind. I called out to her and she called back. Shadow gave a rumbling laugh. [i]I see. Well then, hopefully she can tell us where they are so we can stop flying in what we hope is the correct direction. Mal laughed himself. He couldn't wait to see Ara again. After all that time looking, he had found her.
-
Nya danced around avoiding the spells while counering with her own.
-
Ara kept her expression passive as she gazed at her enemy, but iside her head thoughts were all over the place. Yes Mal, we are both fine. I have to put my barriers back up. This is where we are, see you soon. She sent him a mental image of her location, along with the image of the Forsworn. She hoped that would give him an idea of what was going on. She reinstalled her barriers and went back to focusing on the scene before her.
-
Barahir let out a roar at Matgar and spread his legs in a defensive position. Blood from his shoulder dripped down the golden scales on his leg. The dragon glanced back at Ara and Kyra curiously. Friend or foe?
-
Kyra swung around to look at Barahir. She glanced between him and her rider and made her choice. With her head bent low she stalked forward toward Barahir and Matgar. She stoped next to Barahir and looked at him carefully, noting his wounds. Without a word she swung her head to growl at Matgar, her eyes flashing dangerously.
-
Mal shared Ara's image with Shadow. Shadow, I know what you said, but please go faster. That's a Forsworn. Shadow growled and sped up. Don't worry we're almost there. We'll reach them.
-
Trying to help, Cynder tried to do the same spell she did earlier Brisingr! Suddenly, there were flames evrey were, trying to help Nya in her fight.
-
"The king wishes to see you again, my dear rider." Someone said outside Helluin's cell.
The rider opened his eyes and looked at the door, reconizing the voice. "Galvorn... I have no intention on meeting him again."
"Don't worry," Galvorn smirked. "He said he had something special planned for you." At that, Helluin flinched. The forsworn's dragon stood behind Galvorn, its bloody red scales gleaming in the dim light.
Friend it is. Barahir assumed for Kyra.
-
Nya was startled by the flames and began to hack at Cynder's chains. "Careful with that," she snapped.
-
Ara watched with pride as Kyra went to the aid of Barahir. She decided now might be a good time to check on Hellium. She called out. "Rider, are you there?"
-
Lunar walked into an abandoned cave, she sighed and muttered something.
-
Aye. Helluin said, entering Ara's mind to speak. Though weak and theres another problem.
Galvorn opened the cell and went inside. "Come on, on your feet. We go now." He grabbed the riders arm and pulled him to his feet, Helluin being too weak to fight back did nothing to stop him.
-
Ara reached out speaking into his mind. Do not worry. You will be free soon. Now, what is this other problem?
-
Galvorn, the other Forsworn, is taking me to see the king again. Helluin replied grimly.
Galvorn brought him out of the cell and kept him moving, going toward the room the king was in on the other side of the prison. His dragon growled at Helluin as he followed his rider.
-
"Sorry! I have no idea how I did that though...." Cynder said as Nya was hacking her chains
Ooc: she is still in Cat/dragon form. -
Ara fought down her rising panic. Her mind was screaming at her. Do something Ara! Where are you now? I will come to you. She swallowed slowly.
-
"Ha! Fight me all you wish, but Helluin is going to the King again. Meanwhile i am here, with you, and you have no longer any reason being here!" He cackled, then sent a small tornado of lightning towards them.
Matgar roared in laughter and easily dodged the tornado, going behind his master.
-
The tornadoe came at her too fast. Ara was still trying figure out how to save Hellium when it hit her. She felt a shock run through her whole body and then she flew back. She landed hard on her back and hit her head and the stone floor. She rolled onto her side and groaned. "Ara!" Kyra screamed for her rider. She rounded on the Forsworn and his dragon and roared. "Look what you've done!"
