    "i miss him..." she said a single tear spattering the ground as she turned. "so, longtail's gone. who next?"

    "I miss him t-" Waterstar was cut off.


    "We are." Firestorm padded into the camp, with Aquatail and Bearclaw behind him. "We're tired of this Clan. We're going to start our own Clan. And we'll drive you away from this camp!"


    "Okay. Bye," Waterstar flicked his tail.


    "Let's go." Firestorm left the camp, with Aquatail and Bearclaw close behind. Sharkpaw glanced sadly at the Clan, then spat and followed them.

    "why?" grassbreeze yowled at them.

    Firestorm whirled around, glaring. "Waterstar is too soft of a leader. And if he isn't going to do anything about Longfur running off with the CloudClan medicine cat, then what's he gonna do about his own BROTHER turning his back on him? And bringing some of his Clan mates with him?"


    "From this moment forward, you are no longer FlameClan warriors." Waterstar growled, creeping closer. "In fact, you're in our territory."


    Bearclaw spat. "We don't need FlameClan. There's a group of loners that we've been meeting for the past moon. They think you're soft, too. And so now, Firestorm is going to form a Clan with me, Aquatail, Sharkpaw, and the group of loners."

    she sighed heavily, sadness filling her.

    the she-cat smiled, purring in amusement.

    grassbreeze's violet eyes sparkled in the starlight. waterstar's so much like flamestar... her kits were still small in her belly, flamestar's kits.

    Waterstar yawned. "It's late," he commented, nodding toward the night sky. "We should go to sleep." He licked her ear. "You're welcome to stay in my den. I know you're carrying kits, and it's comfortable."

    "ok." she walked slowly to waterstar's den.

    grassbreeze lied down in a corner of his nest.

    grassbreeze smiled back.

    "good night," she murmured. jayclaw saw lovekit angelkit and devilkit. "hi there!" he purred.

    "what's wrong?" jayclaw tipped his head to the right.
