"Don't cry." She said sadly, wiping away his tears. She took a step closer to him....

"Please eat." he told her as she wiped away his tears.
-
"No." She muttered, not moving her gaze from his. "I can't..."
-
"You can. Just trust me. You aren't fat." he told her, smiling again.
-
She turned away, "Don't lie." She whispered, trying to get her arm to stop bleeding....
-
"I'm not. trust me on this. You will feel so much better." he told her.
-
She shook, "I have a mirror you know. I've seen how I look." She murmured, turning back to him
-
He shook his head again. "You haven't seen what you look like for a while." he told her, remembering how surprised his sister was at how skinny she was. "I could stay with you tonight, if you want."
-
She nodded, "Will you?" she asked, scared he was joking. She looked at him, studying his features. Tomorrow was Saturday....weekends were the worse time for Tanyia. She had nothing to do to distract her....
-
"I will. Mum was saying she wanted me to stay with friends more often, I'll call her now." he told her, taking out his phone an finding his mum's number in his contacts.
-
She smiled, thinking for once someone might care. She knew it was pathetic but she hoped he liked her more than just a friend. "Warning. The house isn't much of a home."
-
"Ours isn't either." he told her after he had finished talking to his mum. "We moved in about a week ago, and it is filled with boxes." he explained. "Anyway, shall we go?" he asked her.
-
She nodded, "This way." She walked to a house with peeling paint, a battered door and a smashed in window. "Home, sweet home." She muttered sarcastically, "I told you it wasn't much."
-
He just shrugged his shoulders as he walked in. "I assume this place has a kitchen?" he asked her.
-
She nodded, bowing her head, "I'll show you your room?"
-
"Ok." he smiled as he followed her. "Please promise me that you will eat. It'll only help." he told her.
-
"I don't make promises. They're just made to be broken." She told him, opening the door to a small room with a single bed in one corner. A wardrobe sat unused in another, a small window looked out onto a muddy 'garden'. "I'm sorry....."
-
"Ok then, at least try." he told her, laying his rucksack on the bed. "Try this." he said, throwing some crisps towards her.
-
She stared at them like they were going to kill her, "Too fattening." She muttered, tossing them back. "I'll be in my room. See you in a few." She began to walk out

He sighed, then got out the half sandwich. His mum was trying to encourge him to eat wholemeal bread, so she made half his sandwich wholemeal bread. The only problem was that he hated wholemeal. He took advantage of this and put the half sandwich out for her.
