Amberpelt quietly walks through the forest when she comes across two of her clanmates being lovey-dovey.
"Stupid mates." She hisses to herself as she stalks away from the two cats.
She continues walking the boarder.
Sharpclaw sat at the border, angry after his best friend made fun of him because he had no mate.
Amberpelt spots a tasty looking thrush next to a boulder and starts stalking it quietly.
Sharpclaw notices the thrush too. He stalks it around the other side, and flinches and gasps when he sees Amberpelt.
"Who are you?!" Amberpelt hisses as her fur starts to puff out.
"Amazed. I mean, Sharpclaw." He meowed, embarrassed.
Amberpelt looked over the stranger. She had to admit, he was pretty cute.
"So what brings you here?" She asked.
"Um, you. I mean, I had to blow off some steam because my friend teased me for having no mate."
Amberpelt mrrows with laughter.
"You too?"
Amberpelt knew just how he felt.

Amberpelt wants to say yes so bad.
"My clan will wonder where I've been..."
"I guess so." His voice was full of pain. "Well, can you at least meet me?"
"Of course!" Amberpelt blurted out before she realized what she was saying.
"I uh, mean, yea I'll try" She meowed in a calmer tone.
Sharpclaw smiled. He reached foward and licked her cheek. He turned and ran away, casting one glance at Amberpelt behind his shoulder. "Bye!" He called out.
"G-goodbye!" Amberpelt called back.
"Wow" She whispered to herself as she walked back to her camp.
Sharpclaw padded back to his den, and lay down. He rested his head on his paws, thinking of Amberpelt.
