  • "What's lurking here is me and a rouge dog. I'd watch out for the dog if I were you, cuz that's the reason I live alone." Said Snow, warningly.

  • Snake nodded. "Watch for a dog. Got it." he replied, sitting down and looking into the forest.

  • Mess wrapped her tail over Alice's shoulders. "We'll make sure you can keep up." Her fur rose hearing about the dog. "I don't want us on the ground out like this with a wild dog lurking around. I think we should get up into the trees." She looked around and saw a dense spot in the tree tops. "Up there should support us." She lashed her tail. "Alice, Scorch, you two need to get up there first, and stay there. Its not safe for either of you down here. Snake, we need to look around and make sure there's no fresh signs of the dog."

  • Snake nodded but then shook his head. "I can't sleep up there Mess." he told her, his green eyes serious and stubborn.

  • At the mention of the dog,Snow paused for a long time. Then sighed. She padded into the back of her den and sat down, staring at the wall with her eyes closed.

The post was edited 1 time, last by Fieryfur ().

  • Alice hissed as she climbed up the tree. The leaps were to long and she wasn't a very good climber.

  • Her daughters words repeated in her head, I'll be ok down here. Don't worry, I'll be fine. then Snow felt a tear roll down her cheek.

  • Snake shook his head up at Mess. "I'm too heavy, and not a good climber. I'll be ok down here. Don't worry, I'll be fine." he told her, his green eyes promising and loving.

OOC. Thought that by repeating Snow's daughter's words it would make it more dramatic ;)

  • ((OOC : OooOoOoooo!!! Drama!!!!!))

Mess looked up at Alice awkwardly climbing the tree. Every time the little cat had to strain to reach another branch, the calico flinched. She turned back to Snake and sighed. "Fine, just find somewhere safe to sleep, and if that dog comes around, I want your big old fluffy kitty butt up that tree." The she-cat bumped against the tom affectionately. Then she glanced over to Snow's cave and nodded. She climbed up the tree into the dense spot in the canopy. It turned out to be an old eagle's nest, but the scent was very stale and faint. Mess curled up in the nest and fell asleep.

Stumpster's fur was up and he looked around him, waiting for the fox's mother to come out snapping her killer teeth. He crouched ready for a fight for a few minutes as the little kit screeched out. After nothing happened, the big tom sniffed it one more time, then padded away. He hunted and caught a rabbit and 2 mice. Stumpster carried his fresh kill back to the den with the little fox in it, and offered the mice to the kit. The kit growled and smelled them cautiously, but then ate them quickly as the tom ate his rabbit near by.

Hoodlum rolled away from Arcy and started grooming his fur, suddenly done sparing. "That was fun. Thanks." He sighed and looked back up at the night sky.

((OOC : On our way to another day. It'll take a day and a half to get out of Snow's woodland territory. "All day" coming up, then until "sun-high of the day after" in RP terms.))

  • Snake licked Mess' ear before she climbed up the tree and padded over to a large boulder. He lay down beside it, but didn't fall asleep.

Arcy smiled. "I haven't had that much fun in a while." she meowed, looking at Hoodlum.

  • "I hope that dog will stay in his twoleg nest." said Snow as she padded into her cave.

  • She yawned then circled in her nest two times and sleept. Only it seemed like she was sleeping.

  • Alice couldn't fall asleep there was to much thoughts going through her mind, like how long will this journey be or will we all come back.

  • Mess slept soundly twitching only her feet as she dreamed of chasing something and purred.

Hoodlum smiled at Arcy. "Me neither. My littermates and I are close, but we've each always just had our own way." He stretched and groomed his ruffled fur.

Stumpster watched the little fox, and after a few hours, the fox kit cautiously approached the tom.
