  • "Yea. It's just me here." Said Snow. " So, what are you and your friends here for."

  • Mess sat down and scented the air to be sure that Snow was telling the truth. As far as she could tell, she was. She relaxed, only one cat can't pose a threat. "We're just passing through. How did you know I was here with other cats? Have you seen them?" The calico glanced behind her again, looking for Snake.

  • Alice brought the mouse back to the nests then she went looking for Mess. She overheard Mess talking to a she cat and then walked beside Mess.

  • "I didn't see them, yet I know when there is more than one cat." Said Snow

  • Voltrixity placed the prey in between the nests, settling down in her own as she began to groom her silver tinged fur.

Twilight yawned, extending her jaws as they showed a row of fangs.

  • Snake padded up beside Mess with a vole in his jaws. He put the fresh-kill down and narrowed his green eyes at Snow. "Who is this?" he asked suspiciously, flicking his tail.

Arcy stretched and paddedout of the barn. She noticed Hoodlum and padded over to him. "What are you doing?" she asked, her purple eyes fixed on the water and looking at her reflection.

  • Mess leaned against Snake. "Apparently Snow lives alone out here. She smelled me while I was hunting and called out." The calico sighed. "There won't be any prey around here now..." She took a big breath in, the air full of the tom's scent. "Have you had any luck, Big Kitty?"

Hoodlum yawned and looked at Arcy tiredly. "I'm just out, enjoying my own company." He peered down into the water through the she-cat's reflection and saw a big catfish sitting under the overhanging bank. His muscles tensed for a minute, then relaxed. He tapped the water with his forepaw and the fish swam off, warped by the ripples on the surface of the water.

Stumpster stretched and padded over to the fresh-kill trough. Inside was nothing but 2 stale pigeons. He scooped one out and started eating.

  • Alice said " I have got a mouse but we will have to move on soon" she said to Mess.

  • Snake narrowed his eyes at Snow and growled. "We don't know who she is." he flicked his ear in irritation, then turned to Mess. "I only caught a vole. There isn't much prey around here." he told her, pointing withhos tail to the small furry creature laying dead on the ground. He turned back to Snow at her question. "Why do you want to know?" he asked her, his green eyes suspicious and defensive.

Arcy watched the catfish, her tail flicking in surprise. She looked at Hoodlum. "What don't know how to PROPERLY fish?" she asked him teasingly, swiping a swift and quiet paw into the water and hooking out a huge bass. "Now that's how you fish." she meowed satisfactionally, putting the fish down by Hoodlums paws.

  • Mess knocked her head gently against Snake's shoulder. "We're not sure where we're going yet. Its... Complicated. We're kind of in a hurry though." She nodded to Alice acknowledging what she'd said. The calico flicked her tail at Snow as way of goodbye, and turned to pad back into the woods.

Hoodlum looked at the bass, and then at the bones of the fish he'd just finished eating. "I'm the only one in my litter that does fish. Mess and Stumpster don't like fish. I'm just not hungry any more..." He sighed and rolled the fresh fish away his paws and scooted back from the water. He turned on to his side and closed his eyes, taking in a deep breath full of the smell of the dusk woods. "Have you seen Hope and Twilight today?"

Stumpster finished eating his pigeon and went out behind the barn to make dirt. After he was done, he walked into the woods a little way, but stopped suddenly. The tom scented the air, and his fur rose instantly. Cautiously, he stalked into the undergrowth. His paws were silent as he made his way toward the source of the smell... [to be cont.]

  • Arcy frowned slightly. Had she hurt his feelings? She sat down, her purple eyes staring at her paws. She looked up when she heardHoodlums question, and shook her head. She hadn't seen them today, but shesuspectedthat they were still sleeping.

Snake flicked his tail towards Snow in dismissal, and padded beside Mess, back to the others. He held his vole in his jaws as they trecked back.

  • Snake turned around and glared at Snow with his peircing green gaze. "Why?" he asked suspiciously, lashing his tail slightly.

Arcy waited for Hoodlum to say something.

  • Mess playfully tapped her paw on Snake's nose. "You're going to turn your pelt grey if you keep stressing out about everything." She rubbed her head and neck under his chin and looked at Snow. "I don't know if that would work out... We're not sure where we're even going. It could be a very long way from your den here, and it might be dangerous. I'd feel awful if you didn't make it back home." She sat down and licked her chest fur.

Hoodlum crouched down and leaped onto Arcy, swatting at her sides with his claws sheithed. "Miss, if you do not wipe that pout off your face, I shall do it for you!" He yelled playfully at the she-cat. He hoped off and crouched again, lashing his tail.

[Still waiting on my decision for Stumpster...]

  • Alice said " And it probably will be long Snow. Would you even be able to travel that far"

  • "I know this territory very well. Maybe I can help you get around." Said Snow as she looked at her paws. "Please."

  • Snake growled under his breath, but decided maybe it was best if Mess chose whether Snow could come or not.

Arcy smiled mischievously and growled playfully at Hoodlum. She pounced on him, trying to pin him down.
