Alice looked at the fang marks lining his neck and grimaced,"Does it hurt?" she asked quietly,!drawing her hand up to his neck then sighing.

"I'm trying not to," she quivered and tugged her hand away while closing her eyes so she wouldn't lunge towards him. "Thanks for everything," she nodded, backing up again,"But tonight I'm taking the couch, instead of you."

Alice hesitated, looking at him wearily,"I'm not..I mean..are you sure?" she shifted uneasily.

Alice nodded slowly, standing up,"It's fine," she agreed, pushing away any doubt that lingered.

Alice slid past him, slipping down under the covers and curled herself tightly. "Thanks," she smiled up at him, taking his hand for a moment.

Alice closed her eyes silently, twisting so her back was to Lucard before she fell asleep.

Alice shifted awake after the sun pulled itself above the horizon. She opened her eyes, surprised at first to see Lucard but she sat up and rubbed her head.

Alice smiled at him sleeping form and grimaced as soon as her gaze found the spot on his neck, her hunger flared and she had to jump out of bed before she dared looking back at him.

Alic ehovered at he edge of the bed, starting towars the door briskly but the smell of red blood drew her back towards the side where he had slept at. She lurched forward
Trying to pin him back so she could get to his neck.

Alice locked her crimson gaze with his, baring her sharp teeth then grinning,"You do this every time! It's not that bad, remember?" she taunted. Alice twisted her wrist under him, trying to loosen his grasp.
