"The clans are in danger!? Ahhh!!!" He started running in circles.

Silverbreeze held back another laugh. The cool breeze that blew through her fur made the blind warrior realize that it must have been getting late, and surely Larkkit's mother would be missing him. "We should get you home little one. I'm sure your mother will be very worried."
-
He stopped and pinned his ears to his head. "She's probably too worried about how Cherrykit's fur looks for her apprentice ceremony.
-
Silverbreeze detected something in the kit's voice. "A mother would worry about all her kits, and doesn't that mean you are getting your ceremony as well." She asked curious about it.
-
"I don't know but the deputy would hat me because I think he'd be my mentor. I was walking aroun the leaders den and I heard him say, ' He needs special training.'" He grumbled.
-
"Don't worry little one. I needed 'special training' too after I lost my sight, but I became a better warrior because of it. You should accept it and this training they were talking about will make you the best for your clan." Silverbreeze meowed thinking back to how hard it had been for her to adjust to her blindness at first.
-
"Well yeah but you had a better sense of smell and stuff! And I'm not blind, so why would I need, 'special' training?"
-
"Maybe they just see more potential in you. Special training doesn't always have to mean something is wrong with you. Why don't you just ask them?" Silverbreeze suggested not getting upset in the least.
-
"Why would they tell me." He sighed. "They've always liked Cherrykit better."
-
"Now I'm sure that's not true. After all who couldn't love a little guy like you." Silverbreeze meowed feeling sad that the young kit would feel that way. She had nobody when she was a kit.
-
He sighed. "I'm usually thinking and not playing at home."
-
"Well thinking is a good thing to. After all I wasn't playful when I was your age, but you seem to be smarter then your age would imply."
-
"Not smart enough to know this was ThunderClan territory."
-
"Most kits don't we've had a few smart kits wonder off and gotten lost. You don't know the borders yet after all." Silverbreeze meowed putting a paw on Larkkit's head gently.
-
"Yeah but I should've smelled it." He smiled.
-
"Well it's hard to distinguish scents at first. I couldn't tell the difference between vole and squirrel when I first started learning to hunt for example."
-
"And maybe it was hard because of the thunderpath." He said.
-
"Exactly." Silverbreeze meowed nodding slightly in response.
-
"I don't know why I crossed the thunderpath though." He wrinkled his nose. "It's smelly."
-
"Well you were brave to do so, but you shouldn't. Many cats have died on the Thunderpath throughout the moons. You were lucky." Silverbreeze advised.
