"It's okay." Thrush meowed, trying to control her anger. "You love her, and that's all that matters." 'As if...' she added to herself quietly. "I better get to sleep. 29 more days and I'll become a full WindClan cat if I can prove it." She smiled, and lied her head down, closing her eyes.

Flickerwhisker sighed, deciding to talk a walk to the lone tree outside the WindClan camp. He tried to sneak away unnoticed so his Clan mates wouldn't think he was weak.
-
Leapfur looked at Flickerwhisker curiously. "Where are you going?" He asked.
-
Flickerwhisker halted. "Just out for a midnight hunt..."
-
The old black tom nodded slightly. "Just be back before Sunrise." He meowed. "Proudstar says that he's going to hold a meeting to introduce the Clan to a new cat. Hmph, I personally think that I've seen enough rogues in my life. You never know."
-
Flickerwhisker glared at him harshly. "I maybe a young Warrior, but I do know one thing! Just because a cat isn't born with Warrior blood doesn't mean they're going to be traitors!!! After all, Thunder, Wind, River, and Shadow started as rouges right? So maybe you should be a bit kinder you fox-hearted cat!"
-
He looked surprised at Flickerwhisker for his sudden rage. "Alright..." He murmured. "Just be carful. You can never reckon what rogues do. They may be nice...but turn out to betrade everyone. You better get going, though. It's getting late." He yawned, stretching out beside the freshkill pile.
-
Flickerwhisker nodded, padding out to his apprentice's grave. Why had he burst out like that?
-
A crow called overhead, and a large fox watched Flickerwhisker from the distance. He licked his lips, about to spring out. But he stayed where he was, observing. ( Can he attack, and Thrush can hear it and help him? )
-
The fox leaped into the air, suddenly tackling Flickerwhisker without warning, piercing it's fangs into his neck.
-
Flickerwhisker flipped and jerked around, desperate to get the fox's fangs out of his neck.
-
The fox dug deeper, blood spewing everywhere.
-
Flickerwhisker howled in pain, his eyes shaking in fear.
-
Thrush opened her eyes quickly. She quickly ran to the entrance of camp, stopped by Darky. "Where do you think you're going?" He growled. Thrush hissed, and leaped over him. "No time to explain!" She meowed behind her shoulder. She saw Flickerwhisker, her eyes wide, and leaped onto the fox, hissing.
-
Flickerwhisker helped Thrush, trying to avoid the fox's brutal bites.
-
Soon, the fox was beaten, and it ran away cowardly. Thrush's body was shaking, and she nearly collapsed from blood-loss.
-
Flickerwhisker, staring at Thrush in amazement. It wasn't possible she wasn't a Clan cat. He picked her up, trying not to hurt her, then bringing her to camp.
-
Darky looked over his shoulder and saw Flickerwhisker and Thrush. "What happened?" He growled. "Did Thrush lead you into a trap?" His fur bristled.
-
Flickerwhisker gently laid her down glaring at Darky. "Shut up, she saved my life. Go get Spotridge and Lightheart you piece of fox-dung!!!"
-
Darky unleashed his claws. "How dare you insult me like this?! You must-" He was interrupted as Spotridge appeared out of the bushes, his golden fur shinning in the midday sun. Lightheart followed him clumsily. "What happened?" Spotridge growled. He looked at Thrush, and gasped. "Lightheart, go get me some cobwebs!" He demanded. "Hurry!" Lightheart nodded, and without a word, she rushed into the medicine cat's den. "Tell me everything that happened." Spotridge sat down. "Darky, I'm sure you should be back on guard patrol instead of gossiping around." Darky snorted, and sat back down.
