  • "Huh? Oh sure." Itchy said disdainfully grabbing Vivian's backside.

((Np. I write long replies sometimes too :D))
((I'm writing a paper right now. I know all about procrastination :-[))

  • Amberfang sped ahead to the den. It wasn't much, just an abandoned den that she had called home for the past few moons. It was fairly large and thought it would fit all of them, plus it had a few herbs that she had found outside the city. She wasn't really a medicine cat, but she had a natural talent with herbs. Placing Vivian on her nest, she began to sort through her herbs, intently looking for a specific one.

Ooc: Gtg sry. Catch u later :)

  • Itchy dropped Vivian and licked the taste if her from his mouth.

"What's all this?" He asked padding around the den. He'd never seen a cat collecting plants before. "Do you eat this stuff?"

  • "Well," Amberfang said, spitting out the paste onto Vivian's fur. "It's actually for healing a variety of illnesses. Like this-" She pointed to an orange leaf. "Is an oak leaf for curing infection. It helps prevent sickness and ease pain. Usually medicine cats do this sort of thing, but I've kinda had to learn during the last couple moons since I joined the clan."

  • "So it's a Clan thing. You can heal yourselves without humans." He stated more than asked. He looked down at Vivian's unconscious form.

"She's probably even hungrier than she is sick." Itchy padded to the entryway. "I'm thinking we could all use something to eat." He trotted out and searched for the scent of prey.

  • Amberfang was about to suggest she helped him hunt, but then she remembered, she was insanely clumsy. Yes, she could fight, but she stunk when it came to hunting. Also, she was used to hunting the larger birds in the mountains, not the land creatures in the loner's territory. With an exhausted sigh, she stepped outside the den and began to search for any loners that had strayed close to her makeshift territory. When she sniffed the air though, there were so many scents that she couldn't decern them from each other. She sat down, utterly sick of this land.

Soon, I'll be back in Moonclan...

  • Itchy landed on another vole and me meowed in pleasure. This was the life. He couldn't wait to get strong enough to defend this territory on his own. He grabbed the two voles, and one mouse and dragged them back to the den.

"Smell that?" He said tasting the air. "Not another loner for a while." Though some had been here pretty recently, he didn't think mentioning that would calm the she cat down.

"Hey, I'm Itchy by the way." He said scratching at his ears.

  • Amberfang almost burst out laughing, "I wonder why..." she said sarcastically.

"I'm Amberfang from Moonclan," she said with a smile. "How can you tell that no loners have been here? Everything smells the same..."

  • "Clan cats always get the best names." He said giving himself one final good scratch. "All the scents are stale. And mice and other prey have been running around recently." He glanced at Amberfang with a mischievous smirk.

"And all the cat blood smells dry, and most of the torn fur has been blown away by the wind."

  • Amberfang gave a startled look.

"Wow, you say that so casually. It's like battles here are nothing more than an everyday occurance..."

  • Itchy sighed and toyed with the mouse.

"A day without a fight around here is like a day when the moon turns green. It's so strange it almost seems wrong." He shrugged then bit into the mouse.

"But this is my home. No choice really."

  • "Well," Amberfang said with a glint in her eye, "Maybe the moon will turn green."
Picking up a vole, she began to eat it.

    Ooc: gtg. See ya! :)

  • "Woah!" Itchy said taking a step back. He then sat and groomed himself trying to hide his surprise. "Welcome back." He mewed in as friendly a voice as he could. "Ya hungry?" He said tossing her the remaining vole.

  • Vvian hissed at the prey that was thrown to her. Then her stomach growled. The black she-cat did not like to show weakness so she chewed up the prey as fast as she could to get rid of her 'signs of weakness'.

  • "Feeling better?" He asked not really caring. Amberfang seemed to like Vivian for some reason. Being rude and mean would just cause him trouble.

  • Vivian ignored Itchy and swallowed the rest of the prey. She still looked like walking bones covered in fur; but now she wasnt starving. Or at least her stomach wasnt growling.
