    "Waterface! There was this cat with fire and he saved me or something!" Finkit said, scared but excited.


    Bearstar watched them. "I told you not to reveal too much!" She hissed at Snaketail.

    "Hey! I'm sorry! He needs to know what to expect!" Snaketail said defensivly.
    "Yea but he's just a kit!" Bearstar defended Finkit.
    "But he's my nephew. I don't want him to get hurt!" Snaketail explained.

    Reeftail growled "He's mine too!!! But, he's just a kit" he helped Bearstar defend Finkit. "Scarletear is my brother ya know"

    "Well you might have completely messed this quest up. What if Finkit want go near the water because he's too scared he's gonna fall in and the cat with flaming eyes is gonna get him"

    Snaketail hung his head. "I just try to do what's best for the clan. But it never works. There's a reason why I was never deputy."

    Reeftail hissed "Hush Brownpaw. He is a good cat. Just he doesn't always use his brain. Come on there's nothing we can do anymore Bearstar. We might as well get on along now"

    Scarletear looked at Finkit like he was crazt "What!?!?!?

    Scarletear growled "Whatever." Scarletear had very little patience so he walked away before he snapped on his son. He looked around at all the cats and thought out the plan for the day. He looked at Angelheart "Take another cat with you and go hunting."


    Angelheart nodded

    'Waterface?' Finkit looked up at his mother. 'Is my father mad at me?'
    Waterface watched Scarletear. 'He just has a short temper. You did nothing wrong. And no, he's not mad at you.'

    Scarletear sat down and looked right at Finkit "Finkit...Your coming with me" Scarletear stood licked his chest fur then started walking towards his son

    Scarletear picked the kit up and looked at Waterface and mumbled through Finkit's scruff "Go with Angelheart on the hunting patrol." Scarletear bounded away without an answer heading towards the river
