  • OOC: Yea.

IC: Percy kept walking. One day you're going to make a great sacrifice... Phineas had said, And your not going to like it...

  • ooc: oh my gosh yes. and i'll add u!

ic: Annabeth kept walking. She tried not to think of what was down here. But she couldn't. Arachne was here somewhere...
"Oh no," she said. I don't have my knife."

  • Annabeth looked around franticly. The knife had been given to her by Luke Castellan, who was now dead. She had no idea what she'd do if she never got it back.

  • Occ: so... i rp now?

  • OOC: Yesh.

IC: "There." Percy pointed and walked toward it. He leaned down and grabbed it.

  • Annabeth rushed over and took the knife from Percy. She leaned down and grabbed her bag and Daedalus's laptop that were lying next to her feet. "Thanks," she told Percy. She felt a little guilty about being so attached to it, because of its previous owner. She felt especially guilty with Percy right next to her, being so sweet.

  • Percy smiled softly. "Well, at least we have two weapons instead of one."

  • "Yup. The more weapons the better," Annabeth replied. Suddenly she heard a hissing sound behind her.
She spun around and yelped. She quickly threw her hands over her eyes, and made sure Percy did the same. The hissing grew louder. Wait, not hissing. Laughter. "Miss me much?" Medusa asked.

  • Percy threw his hands over his. "Great, you again." He growled, raising his sword.

  • Annabeth lifted her knife. "You don't learn from your mistakes, do you, Medusa? We've killed you once. What makes you think we won't do it again?"

  • Medus just hissed. Maybe she was laughing? Annabeth didn't stick around to find out. She lifted her knife over her head so she could watch Medusa's reflection. When she did, she realized why Medusa only hissed. Her mouth wasn't completly reformed yet. But unfortunately, her eyes were perfectly fine. Medusa hissed and lunged at Annabeth, who dodged, but twisted her ankle even more. She cried out in pain and dropped her knife.

  • Annabeth sat for a few second while the pain in her leg died down. She scooped up her knife, and looked for Medusa in the reflection.

  • Annabeth located Medusa. She lowered her knife, praying her timing would be correct. She wait untill Medusa was almost to her, and swung. She heard a sickening splat.

  • Percy heard it as well and used his sword to reflect. The half-head medusa was gone.
