Blackbird That Flies above Clouds trotted out of the crowded ToMS camp. As the fighters were returning from battle, he was becoming a bit claustrophobic. The F1 Savannah had broken his foot some time ago, but it was irratating him again, forcing him to stay home instead of fighting against Riverclan. All in all, the young tom wasn't that upset. He couldn't bear to see any of his siblings hurt. But it was kind of lonely back here at the camp. He needed someone to talk to, who could actually understand him.

Paisley found herself rapidly nearing the ToMS border, the F2 savannah was tired, hungry, and lonely. Everyone it seemed had abandoned her...Her children, Errato, Kallahan, her friends, and her tribe had left her alone. She was alone. The brown spotted tabby went right across the border, not caring if any ToMS cats saw her. If they did, well, maybe they would put her out of her misery. Maybe...The first cat she saw was another savannah. She kept walking, hoping he would attack and kill her. She wouldn't fight back if he did attack. Of course not...That was what she wanted.
-
Blackbird approached the she-cat in a respectable manner, slowing down his pace as he trotted down the hill. He could tell that by her size and her fur pattern that she, too, was a Savannah cat. "Hi," he said simply. He didn't know if she belonged to ToMS or not.
-
Paisley turned to look at Blackbird, a sad look in her eyes. He hadn't attacked her..."Hi." She said to him, looking away from him and down at her paws. She kept walking.
-
Blackbird sat on his haunches a momet, watching as the newcomer passed him by. After a moment, he got up and followed reluctantly. "Um...what are you doing on ToMS land?" he questioned, wanting to start a conversation. Judging by her scent, she wasn't from around here.
-
"Walking." Paisley replied simply as she continued forward. "And what are you doing in ToMS land?"
-
Immidiately Blackbird found Paisely extremely frustrating and intoxicating...at the same time. "i'm a fighter of the Tribe of Many Storms. You shouldn't be here...what if you get caught? You're lucky it's me who found you." Yep. Really lucky.
-
"I don't feel very lucky." Paisley sighed as she continued forward.
-
Blackbird continued following, picking up a faster pace. "Oh? And why is that?" he asked her curiously.
-
"My life sucks, that's why. And you didn't kill me like you were supposed to...I guess I'll just have to do it myself." Paisley mumbled, not liking how she was being followed. She sped up, hoping he would catch on to the fact that she didn't like him stalking her.
-
Blackbird didn't get the memo, and sped up, matching Paisley's speed. "Kill yourself? Why would you want to do that? A pretty she-cat like you can't have too bad of a life?"
-
"I do though." Paisley whispered, not about to slow down.
-
Blackbird stopped, mid-step. "Well, are you willing to tell me about it?" he asked her quietly.
-
"Nope." Paisley said simply, that wasn't something she wanted to talk about with a stranger. She kept walking for a moment, but then seeing he wasn't following anymore she stopped too.
-
"I'd like to know more about you," he told her honestly. "You seem like an interesting kind of cat."
-
"Oh, well....Thank you I guess." Paisley shrugged.
-
"Sure," Blackbird said, and walked cautiously over to her. "What's your name? I'm Blackbird That Flies Above Clouds, or Blackbird for short."
-
"I'm Paisley." The savannah replied softly, having nothing else to say. She tilted her head, "Your name is nice..."
-
The Savannah smiled. "Thanks! I like yours too," he complemented. "So, Paisley, what's got your tongue that's making you so upset?" he asked her, concerned.
-
"Life." Paisley replied looking at her paws, "But I don't want to talk about it." She then added, quickly.
