Sagekit sat in the corner, shyly playing with his tail. All his littermates were born dead.
Cascadekit played with a moss ball. she was a very shy kitten, and didn't play with the others that much.
Cascadekit:
He glanced at Eclipsekit but quickly turned away.
Cascadekit looked around the nursery.
Sagekit sighed. He wished he had littermates.
Cascadekit saw Sagekit and walked over. " hi." she said.
He stared at her shyly. "Hello." He whispered.
" my name's Cascadekit. what's yours?" she asked.
"S-Sagekit." He answered softly. Why did a cat suddenly care who he was?
" okay. do you want to play with a moss ball i found?" Cascadekit asked.
"N-no thanks." He answered and continued batting around his tail.
" okay. you want to do something else?" she asked.
He gave her a questioning look. Why did she care about him so much?
" it's okay if you don't. you looked lonely before, so i thought i'd come say hi. and i did." Cascadekit said. she looked at the ground.
"Yes. You did. Are you sure there's nothing else you want?" He asked shyly.
" nope. just wondering if you want to play." she said.
"Well I'm fine." He said, turning away.
" okay." Cascadekit turned around and went back to her moss ball.
He went back to playing with his tail.
